This Chiefs party is getting crashed hard next Sunday

You think Roethlisberger carved up this defense? Matt Ryan has been unstoppable this season and is going to sodomize Peters and co.

Who covers Julio for the entirety? What do you do about Freeman and Coleman? Who matches up against Gabriel in the slot? Can you contain Vic Beasley?

This Sunday will be a Dirty Bird extravaganza. Kansas City should be thankful that they're even invited. #RiseUp

Sofa King 11-28-2016 02:05 PM

Ok

RealSNR 11-28-2016 02:06 PM

We're going to bomb you to smithereens like the US did to Anwar al-Awlaki and Laurent Duvernay Tardif.

And this time UN secretary Sabby Piscatelli won't be there to save you.

Go Royals 11-28-2016 02:07 PM

You still have Scott Pioli

ptlyon 11-28-2016 02:08 PM

I fully expect to lose. Like every week.

In58men 11-28-2016 02:08 PM

Gaines is going to get torched......again. Our run defense is weak too, I'm not getting my hopes up.

And whats the point of this stupid post ? If we loose there are still 4 Games left and we have a good chance making the playoffs or win our Division.
Atlanta isn't exactly bad....

KChiefs1 11-28-2016 02:18 PM

It's another tough game in a very tough stretch.

I hope he fares as well as Vick did when he was supposed to shellack us those years ago.

Lol good luck.

I hope the game coverage spends a lot of time on what a piece of shit GM Pioli was/is.

TomBarndtsTwin 11-28-2016 02:59 PM

The Falcons have lost 4 games last I checked.

Apparently a number of teams have figured out how to 'stop' them.

Just for sport, tell you what, we'll play you guys like your big brothers played you on Nintendo growing up.

We're not even going to try on offense for three and a half quarters, before we get serious and win.

Run defense has been pretty good the past couple weeks actually.

It appears they're scheming to take the run away as of late and it's working, but it may be directly affecting our 3rd down defense in the process.

carcosa 11-28-2016 03:22 PM

Julio Jones is the kind of receiver that gives this team issues. Kelvin Benjamin, Keenan Allen, etc.

Mother****erJones 11-28-2016 04:51 PM

Is he going to put three fingers in for poor academic performance?

Deberg_1990 11-28-2016 06:22 PM

Certainly. Wish we would have drafted Ryan back in 2008.

Every Chiefs' practice, our offense faces 3 edge rushers who could bend Vic Beasley over and butt-ram him until he cries for his boyfriend.

My hope is that Ford is back and Houston continues to be Houston. Hard throwing passes on your back.

CupidStunt 11-28-2016 09:05 PM

That Falcons defense is so bad, any competent QB would drop 40.

Hopefully we can eek out 170 yards passing and a special teams TD for a 23-20 win.

MahiMike 11-28-2016 09:14 PM

The Falcons are such posers. Every year it's the same story for them.

we thought we would get smoked bad in Denver too.

OldSchool 11-28-2016 09:27 PM

Jones should be doubled most of the time by Parker and Gaines.

The key is going to be the health of KC front 7. Will the defense be able to pressure with just 4 guys. Houston is going to have to pull out a similar performance and Ford is going to have to come back healthy. They're going to need Nelson back as well.

If not, Smith and Co will have to try to win a shootout without Maclin.

It was actually Priest and Derrick Blaylock. Blaylock had 4/10 of his career touchdowns that game. That game was awesome.

I'm picturing something resembling the Steelers bounceback game after starting 1-5 last year. Even down to the low 20s to mid teens score in their favor. Between 24-13 and 21-17.

The big key is the health of those actually taking the field tonight remaining PRISTINE throughout the game. So much as a Zombo or West gimpy on an ankle throws the whole thing in Denver's favor.

I also see a glimmer of possibility that we get a Tyreek/Peters 1-2 showcase punch.

Other reasons KC is better than ATL:

Scott Pioli
arena... errrr dome team...

Carr-35 points
Brees-39 points
Rivers- 24 points
Wilson- 24 points
Rodgers- 33 points

Good results to be sure, but this trend on the board to say we should score "x" amount to set up a preemptive attack on Smith and the offense is silly. It's also not even necessary. There are plenty of issues you can take with the offense without having to set a bar so high for the offense that you are almost guaranteed to come back saying "told you so".

Mother****erJones 11-28-2016 11:00 PM

Red zone efficiency and 3rd downs are key. Keep the ball moving and controlled. Limit their offensive possessions.

BlackOp 11-28-2016 11:03 PM

Falcons have scored 100 more points than KC....KC has allowed 100 less points than Atlanta.

Question: When the unstoppable force meets the immovable object who loses?
Answer: The one that blinks

Atlanta is a finesse team. The Chiefs are a "smack you in the mouth" team. This game isn't played on a spread sheet, it's played on a field where a badass dude named Justin Houston romes.

The point is, most teams that face the Falcons say, "Hopefully our [insert competent QB] can outscore Matt Ryan." Our prayers around here are that we get a few lucky breaks, win the turnover battle, Ware has a huge game, or other random 90s cliches. It's ****ing pathetic that we have ZERO ability to expect our QB to, you know, actually compete with the opponent QB.

Alex Smirh will have to light it up. Early and often.

Al Bundy 11-29-2016 12:25 PM

**** the Falcons and their empty trophy case.

Baby Lee 11-29-2016 12:46 PM

I don't see a shootout. For all the talk about Palmer on the decline, dude was throwing dimes all day long last Sunday. Problem was the ATL 2ary was only opening windows the size of a gnat. Alex will have more time to make decisions than in Denver, but won't see anything he likes very quickly.

Best bet is to run Ware into the ground and win the TOP battle. Best luck would be for an early INT to scare Ryan off more ambitious throws.

This game won't be tougher than the Denver game, but will be tough in wildly different ways. They play almost the polar opposite of Denver [defense shines in the 2ndary as opposed to pass rush, and the offense slings it early and often to open a cushion], and we have a shorter week after an OT slog at altitude to overcome, not to mention whipsawing as far abroad in travel as KC is capable of geographically.

Best bet is a couple quick punches in straight in the mouth early, because another protracted battle is going to wear us out.

O.city 11-29-2016 01:02 PM

The Falcons have the worst pass d in the league and just list their best corner for the year.
