You might want to sit down for this...
Justin Houston missed practice today with a knee injury, per the star.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/kansasc...?client=safari Hopefully, this isn't anything to be concerned about. |

I bet he plays but they limit his snaps severely. Does anyone remember this from last year?
|
I like how they tell us DJ didn't practice. That's a shocker.

So he does or does not have a knee issue? |
You might want to sit down for this...
He does from what I'm reading. ESPN said it was an illness then an hour later knee
|
I beleive the earlier version said it was for illness, but it actually was a knee issue

Linebacker Justin Houston didn’t practice with the Chiefs on Thursday because of a knee injury. He was a limited participant on Wednesday because of an illness. Read more here: http://www.kansascity.com/sports/nfl...#storylink=cpy |
So his knee is sick

I'm proud of CP for not panicking - we've learned WHEN to panic and when it's fluff.
Houston will be fine - He will play, we will win. |

People around here scream bloody murder whenever anybody has the audacity to even imply that they would have made better choices in certain situations than our coaches or personnel staff. If it's wrong to insist upon not spending so much money on Player X, it's even worse to insist the medical and training staff isn't doing right by the player or team when they declare a player to either be healthy or not. ESPECIALLY when we have no information about what occurred. |

Russia hacked Houston's knee*
*with a hatchet, apparently |
He'll be fine. We'll be fine.

The Broncos go an entire season and playoffs without as much as a ding, yet our guys can't get off the couch without spraining their vag.
|
Given some of the questions about the previous injury where the ligament was "not working right" or something like that, this is concerning. I have to wonder if this is not a case of him being rushed back too fast but maybe a nerve issue that may be the end of his football career. Obviously I hope that I am completely off base here but until we hear more about what is going on this will remain a possibility in my mind as it has since February when the surgery was done.

Charles has issues after his knee injury
Gaines still having issues with his knee DJ reinjured his a chillies Houston now possibly having knee issues? A few weeks ago I questioned the Chiefs medical staff and was lit up for it. This is too much of a coincidence. |

Justin Houston, who missed practice Thursday with a knee injury and was limited Wednesday due to an illness, is at practice today. |
My completely rational panic is abating slightly.

DJ injured his OTHER Achilles. Gaines' issue is that he sucks, not that his knee is no good. The Chiefs medical staff has very little to do with any of this. Bottom line is the Chiefs are actually one of the more healthy teams in the league, and if anything, you should be praising them. So if you were lit up for it, you deserved it. |
They've got 9 guys on ir. They aren't one of the more healthy teams in the league.
