Week 16 SNF on Christmas. Let's talk about Denver.
Chiefs currently open up as 5 to 5.5 point favorites according to early Sportsbooks
Fivethirtyeight pegs us at a 70% likelihood of winning this matchup What's changed since our last matchup?: Jeremy Maclin appears to be returning to form coming off an 82 yard game (2 very impressive receptions for gains of 44 yards and a 17 yard pickup on 3rd down) . Denver suffered key losses to both the Titans and Patriots, currently they have just a 17% chance of making the playoffs. Chiefs have a 99% chance of making the playoffs according to several sites including NYT and FivethirtyEight. Denver's run game has been pitiful, averaging roughly 3 YPC. Forsett is now their starter. Von Miller purchased everyone in the entire AFC West a custom bottle of wine. Vegas has the Chiefs at 4 to 1 odds of winning the AFC. Early forecasts call for a snowy but relatively warm game. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays and GO CHIEFS! http://www.chiefs.com/assets/images/...6-Berry-ia.jpg |

Denver is going to beast rape the Chiefs
|
I won't pretend that it somehow makes me happy that the Broncos' season is over, but it's convenient that I won't have to be tempted to watch football on Christmas. That shit shouldn't happen.

"Snowy but warm"
You should kill yourself. |

well apparently their Defense ****ing hates their offense.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ss-to-patriots So it should be a pretty good matchup |

I predict at least 125 passing yards and 30 rushing yards. A true circus offense. I also predict Reid tells the media he "has to do better" at something.

The level of dumb on CP is just too much sometimes.

KC has been the type of team that rebounds well...that and they have something tangible to play for. I'd imagine this loss...stemming from sheer stupidity, has got their collective attention.
Meanwhile...Denver's locker room is divided. There's trouble in paradise....looks like Talib is the instigator. No big surprise there...it's what he does. Ward's body slam on NE says it all...they are done. Donkos offense has scored 13 points in the past two weeks...with the season on the line. |

4-1 odds... thats ****ing genius considering there are only four teams in each division. :D |

This is a game the Chiefs should win so that means they will probably look like shit and find a way to lose.

Even though yesterday's debacle stings like a mother, reading the meltdowns and delusions over at the mange are really brightening up my morning. They are over there calculating the chaos equation it would take for that laugher of a team to limp into the playoffs for a national embarrassment. They just put up 3 points, at home, in December, against their most hated rival, with the playoffs on the line and multiple posters are all "you never know what can happen when a team gets into the dance". They are also just assuming the Donks win out at KC and against OAK in these delusional scenarios which may be the most hilarious part, even if they did pull that off they need a 2010 Chiefs 10-6 miracle. The hope some still have over there is amazing. I love that their PR/KR (Norwood, shoved by Talib for muffing a punt) has 4 fumbles in the last 4 games and Kubes trotted him out there again and again last night. That team is coming to blows with each other, they have probably the worst RTs in football, zero and I mean zero running game, Kubes has lost the fanbase and possibly the players already, yet "never know what can happen" remains.
From the Mange: "1. Never waste a chance to catch fire in the playoffs. Even if it's unlikely. Baltimore parlayed a 4th and like 34 season saving play plus Raheem into a WC. 2. Crazy EVERY other game we needed to go our way this week the opposite happened." Lol, "catch fire" point #2 is also indicative of the typical Donk fan mindset, yeah not the Donk's fault for putting up 3 at home in a must have game, it's all the other teams not coming through. Also nice to see some draft threads in December over there instead of here for once. |
The "Catch Fire" thing is 100% correct.

1997 Denver Broncos. Brian Bahr/Getty Images. ... Smellway and Salary Cap Cheating 2000 Baltimore Ravens. Elsa/Getty Images. ... If not the greatest defense of all time, then a solid #2, lone anomaly 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers. ... Big Ben 2007 New York Giants. ... Eli and a D-line that became Gods in the postseason 2010 Green Bay Packers. Rodgers 2016 Donks: Semengulper, terrible OL, terrible run game, terrible special teams, publicly divided locker room, no longer an elite D, not a "team" but a bunch of hired guns with garbage character (Ward, Talib, and all the other cheap head hunting players). In theory yeah, reality no. Steelers or virtually anyone in the NFC could win this year from a WC spot but the Donks don't have a prayer. |
Two broke dick offenses
We win 6-3 |
I think you left a few out there when it comes to catching fire. The term isn't exclusive to wildcard teams.
|
Super Bowl wild card winners google search only gives the above and 1980 Raiders which I didn't feel was relevant to the 2016 playoffs.
|
I am flying in for this and after yesterday's loss, the excitement is gone.
|
Beating them again would be nice but useless. This team is a lucky 10 win team with an offense that is garbage being led by a bum at QB.
|
I really don't give a shit after that AWFUL loss to a below average Tit team at home
|
Chiefs gonna put cole in all our stockings.

Seriously that loss was a piece of shit. The NFL can piss off on Christmas primetime bullshit. Won't be watching.

At first, it was really annoying, but now, it's just expected and comical. 10-4, and one of perhaps three AFC teams as likely SB contender... and the same fans are in the corner... tears running down their faces and pissing themselves.. I am still burning over that Smith EZ pick, no lie, but this team is the same as it was. KC might be able to squeak out important wins if Andy Reid gets out of his own way... but it's painful.. because this offense could really soar, if allowed to. * The constant injuries (including slow recoveries for active guys)... * Reid going into a shell after any lead.. the DROPS (5th worst before yesterday... and a special **** you to DAT)... * the 19th ranked rush offense in dvoa.. * and yes, the occasional wtf? horrid QB decision... ... but back to the offense could really soar... we have seen the stretches where this offense cuts loose. We KNOW what they could do, if unshackled. So for people to STILL not get that it's the coaching philosophy at work here? That suggests that they just don't want to. Whether from fear of recognizing that Andy's not going anywhere and not gonna change.. or simply hating the QB.. or just being too ignorant to blame anyone but the QB... they just can not allocate portions of blame where they truly belong. |

LMAO Bro, stop. If it's snowing, that means it's LITERALLY FREEZING. By definition, that is not warm. "Relative" or not. 15 degrees="relatively warm" LOL Dis tew much. |

The Broncos are melting down. Their defense hates their offense for being a trash bag filled with wet moldy bread. They might not even try.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs are motivated to overcome a terrible loss and hopefully take the division back. Travis Kelce will force Alex to audible out of Andy's shitty play calls to get the ball to him and Tyreek over and over again. Chiefs 100 Broncos 0 |

Tired of the women here bitching about this team having no shot at beating playoff teams. Yes, they have a ****ing shot. And yes, it's gonna be difficult, as it would for any team whose front 7 is decimated. But the last two are winnable and the 2nd seed is still well within reach. A home game would be a good opportunity regardless of who comes in (even Pitt - Roethlisberger is notoriously mediocre on the road), then you likely go to New England, where they were close last year (w/ Gronk, and you possibly have Charles and others back by then). |

I have two main goals for the game on Sunday.
1. Chiefs win over Broncos. 2. Watch Talib start a sideline fight with Okung and get pounded into the turf by five 300 pound offensive linemen. (I would say six, but Sambrailo can't get a hand on anybody.) |
