actor Bill Paxton dead
Game over man.......Game over...
http://people.com/movies/bill-paxton...urgery-age-61/ Emmy-winning actor Bill Paxton died due to complications from surgery, PEOPLE confirms. “It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery,” a family representative said in a statement. “A loving husband and father, Bill began his career in Hollywood working on films in the art department and went on to have an illustrious career spanning four decades as a beloved and prolific actor and filmmaker. Bill’s passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their adored husband and father.” The Texas native, who won an Emmy for his work in the TV mini-series Hatfields and McCoys, began acting in the 1970s. His earliest acting credits include minor roles in blockbusters such as Terminator (1984) and Aliens (1986). Paxton’s notable performances include playing Morgan Earp in Tombstone (1993), Fred Haise in Apollo 13 (1995), the lead role in the 1996 hit Twister and as treasure hunter Brock Lovett in Titanic (1997). |
Well damn... he was excellent in tombstone.

Forever Chet. RIP.

He was awesome in Aliens and True Lies. |
Rip. Enjoyed his acting.

I may have to have a Frailty/Aliens/Weird Science marathon later. ****. RIP :( |
Awesome in the new CBS series training day
But what does "complications from surgery" mean? He's young. He shouldn't have complications, unless the surgery was major or unexpected |

Hated reading this. Especially since it was due to complications from surgery. Especially since I'm having surgery tomorrow. Like reading about a plane crash before a trip.

"Dickless! I mean, let's face it, if they took care of business, I'd be out of business! You know what I mean?" "Aww, but she could be so hot if she wanted to. She's like all these babes, you get their pilot lit, they could suck start a leafblower. And she's got the most incredible body too and a pair of titties that make you wanna stand up and beg for buttermilk. Ass like a ten year old boy! AHAHAHAHA!" Great lines, and he delivers them perfectly. LMAO |

He had just done a great interview on WTF. Really worth a listen, he had a ton of stories and a lot of different interests. Pretty impressive guy, RIP.

I was really starting to enjoy his new series as well. It was kind of a 180 from his role in Big Love. |

Dammit, RIP Bill Paxton. Loved him in Big Love among others, but that was the biggest role that I followed.

That sucks. Bill was damn good in the movies. Sad day.

He might have been in a surgery for that for all we know. Also, 60 isn't young, especially for someone with heart disease. |

I'll always remember Aliens Bill Paxton, besides the infamous "GAME OVER" I laugh my ass off every time when Newt puts on the helmet and he screams "WHAT YOU PUT HER IN CHARGE?!"
|
Frailty had one of the greatest twist endings of all time. It was right up there with Usual Suspects. It's a shame more people haven't seen it. Whenever the subject of obscure films comes up, I always recommend it.

Little known fact: Bill came up with most of that dialogue. He derived it from his father!
LMAO |
We're on an express elevator to hell. Goin' down.
|
If you like JFK he did narrated a show about JFK's busy last days and Paxon was in the audience when JFK spoke a day before he got brained. Pretty crazy.
|
Twister is still a great movie.
Great actor. Peace. |

Last scene was him talking to the headstone of his dead partner |
The rare character actor who wasn't annoying in most of his roles.

****ing Doctors
R.I.P Bill |
Just ****ing horrible.
RIP Bill you were one of my all time favorite actors. |
Most likely a stroke during/after valve replacement surgery. It's a huge threat for that kind of surgery.
And it's a shame. Reading up about the guy, it appears Paxton was the kind of actor who was admired by the boom operators, set personnel, as well as other actors. The guy who knew their names, and didn't forget a face. Travel Well, BP. |
Damn, too young, such a talent too.
I was scheduled for back surgery Tuesday but have canceled due to a lingering cold and a bad case of the flu within our home the last month. Just didn't want to take that chance. |
Good actor but I don't care thats hes dead. Deaths never faze me.

I'll never forget watching Aliens with my JW family and they found Bill Paxton's death so horrifying and profanity-filled they demanded I turn the movie off. LMAO
Well played, Bill. :hail: |
