Which Risk Map territories have you visited?
Just wondering if we have them all covered. For the purposes of this, you can count a territory if you've set foot in it.

Interesting....at first, i was wondering what the "Risk" was...then i figured out what you meant.
North A: 2,4,7,8,9 Europe: 1,3,5,7 And...that's about it. |
I've spent the night in 19, and I've set foot in 2 more for a total of 21. I'm planning a trip next year that will get me two more, including an obscure one, and that got me thinking about it.
A good life goal might be to visit all 42 Risk Map territories. |
North America:1,2,3,4,8,9
Africa:2 Europe:1,3 Asia:2,5,6,7 So I have 13 |

When I was living in Japan, the company I worked for sent me and a couple of other guys to Russia to see if there was a viable sight to set up a manufacturing operation.

Ah, I was there with the 8th ID during the Gulf War. Reinlisted after 9/11 and went back 3 more times. Thanks for serving.

4 and 9 lol

It makes me sad when someone messes up my poll by voting on every option. And by sad, I mean that I want to stab them in the genitals.

Six territories for me atually. Should've made the poll public. Now you just need to go around stabbing random CPer genitals, which will make you very unpopular indeed. Your sky-high rep rating is gonna take a serious hit if you do that. In other news, I'm glad I live thousands of miles from Denver... |

8 in northwest territory???? i call BS - my son lives there and i have doubts that 8 of 40 or so people that took this have been to yukon, NWT or Nunavut. basically 3 towns - whitehorse, yellowknife or iqaluit.

I almost got a business trip to Nunavut once. A client wanted a study of resident opinions on polar bear management. Sadly, it didn't come fruition. |
So it seems like the places where Chiefsplanet has not yet planted the flag include:
Greenland - Understandable. I've been pondering a trip there on the ferry system that runs up the west coast, but it hasn't made it to #1 yet. Plus, you spend a lot of time in airports trying to get there Iceland - This one surprises me. Half my company has been to Iceland and they have good airfares. I haven't been yet, though. Ukraine - Probably not too surprising. It was a pretty short window between Soviet and war zone. Congo - I'm kind of surprised no one's been there on a vacation. I wouldn't expect much coverage, but I thought we'd get someone. Irkutsk - This one is going to require a Chiefsplanet-funded expedition. I wonder if the Trans-Siberian railroad goes through here? Siberia - See Irkutsk above. And who marked off Yakutsk? I want to hear the story behind that. Indonesia - This one's a shocker. No one's been to Bali or the Philippines? I'm guessing that manila-chief hasn't voted, so I bet we can eventually mark this one off. New Guinea - Not a surprise. I really want to go there, but have been put off by reports that it's more or less lawless in the cities and you need a full-scale National Geographic expedition in the jungle. |
