Not that 610's afternoon personalities set themselves up to be Chiefs apologists last Friday by saying the Chiefs are in a "no win" situation for today's game, but what are your thoughts on how much Chiefs/Andy/Alex dick they'll suck tomorrow morning in an effort to appear both level-headed and smarter than the average Chiefs fan? Perhaps out of fear of being kicked out of the press room, I predict they'll accept all of Andy's excuses and not call for Andy's firing, or Alex being benched.

I'm going to love hearing them channel their innermost, yet silent, "we're lucky k to have a team" mindset by providing dick-sucking analysis to downplay how bad the coaching and management (and ownership) is. From injuries to bad luck, all will find a way to give them a pass, or tap-out with an, "it is what it is" comment. Anything but ride fat-Andy's butt for the shit show they have become.

KC is the best place to go as a coach. Make piles of money, and never get held to same stands are as cities with with teams.

This is 100000% true. For a loser, Hunt is the best owner in the world because he accepts failure from his employees for a very profitable long time, and really only cares about building his soccer empire.

I would love to have an owner like Kraft or Jones, neither of them accept failure for long, especially Kraft. All they have to do is hire a like-minded GM, and together they hire a like-minded head coach, then the winning just happens. The GM makes sure the office and non-game-playing people do great jobs in their supporting role(s) to the Sunday playing staff, and the head coach makes sure the Sunday players give until they're dead.

Our guys do get lots of injuries, but then everything falls apart from there.

You only need to remain competitive (.500ish or better) during the regular season to keep attendance at good levels. Anything beyond that is a bonus and not expected.

Reid even was allowed help oust the GM and install his guy essentially making him GM, HC and OC. Not a bad gig.

Yeah, that was hilarious. Steven St. John was railing about Zombo. He said him specifically. Paraphrasing, but something along the lines of “This ****ing guy shouldn’t be on the field! He ****ing sucks! He sucks dick!”

There was more than that, but he definitely said Zombo and definitely dropped the “****ing sucks” and “sucks dick”.

Man I hope it wasn't SSJ, he is my fav KC radio personality.
If he gets canned, I won't listen to 810 at all.

I like SSJ and Soren. Obviously KK is AIDS personified, but yeah, the other 2 make 810 listenable for me.

That's not fair to Keitzman. Fescoe is a meathead. Keitzman occasionally has a good show. I listened to Danny and Carrington back when they had the noon show, but didn't like their evening show where they spent most of their time discussing each other's love lives.

Hah yeah, they did often stray from the topic of Sports... although some of it had me laughing and entertained at times.

I like Josh Vernier. His opening monologue is usually quality stuff, and the "Three Strikes" game is pretty good.

Not saying the show is a world-beater but for 610 it's not bad.

I'll be honest, that 810 spot this morning was very good. My hats off to them, I would never have expected it.

They're even right about how our miserable D played. Even though we hate them, and any decent team would have put up 45 on them, yesterday they held the Giants to 12 points. So Andy and the offense owns the lion share of yesterday's abortion and somebody needs to be sacrificed as an offering.

While it's sad that it has to cost somebody their job, but at this point I'd say a player, a talent scout (because our "next man up" seems to suck [unlike New England's]), and a coach need to be cut in an effort to send a message to each group. And if it's Andy, I'm fine with that, because he's the biggest problem IMO.

Anything this afternoon? I'm working and can't listen!

I didn't listen to sports talk for a good 5 years because the radio in my car went tits up, so I couldn't listen to anything. now that I have a vehicle with a radio........my god. Fescoe is terrible.

You can absolutely tell by his 'takes', that he honestly doesn't have much of a clue about the game of football.

Border Patrol in the mornings...meh. I thought they used to be entertaining, but they're sort of in the same category as Johnny Dare for me now . Stale/played out.

Petro is good, though i don't get to listen to his show much. and I don't mind the Fanning guy on the drive home on 610, but can't stand the other guy with him. Just a grating, annoying voice.


Needless to say, our options in this town for sports radio are on par with our local sports teams success over the years.

Ok, curious if anyone else heard this on 610 last evening. I got in the car to leave work around 4:10 PM. The radio comes on and I swear I heard Fanning say that if we could have got a stop on that last Giants 4th down, we would have had the ball with ~2:00 minutes left. And then goes on to say (paraphrasing here), "The team that possesses the ball when OT time runs out, wins the game".

Did I hear that right? No one called him on it and I'm not sure of the context since I didn't hear any of the conversation that proceeded it. But I was dumbfounded. How could someone that is employed as a sports talk host be that clueless?

I think he was implying that the team with the ball when overtime is about to expire is obviously the team with the best chance to win. Not that if you possess the ball when time expires you win the game by default.

Agree on Fescoe and Petro, but I'm still a fan of Border Patrol. They just speak from a fan's standpoint, have no agendas, no narratives to push.

I made the mistake yesterday of listening to some of Kietzman's show because I had a 2-hour drive to pick up my son at college for the holiday. Good God, it reminded me why I rarely if ever listen to him. Not only was he awful, but his callers were the most brain-dead morons. Nearly everyone blamed the offensive line for the offensive struggles ("Alex Smith just ain't got time to throw back dere."). Another posited the theory that the team's struggles coincided with Marcus Peters "kneeling," and he thinks there's internal dissent. Jesus Tapdancing Christ.

KK said the dumbest shit, and nobody called in to call him on it -- because either nobody with an IQ higher than their age listens, or they won't put anyone on the air who will tell the king he's not wearing any clothes.

I had to turn the damn show off, I was so disgusted.

The people on that site are the absolute worst. Seriously, take the worst homer moron here on the Planet and you can't even touch it. Made me realize...we really are in a minority on CP.
