With 3 games in 12 days, Redskins have too many injuries to hold a practice

"With 22 players on Monday’s injury report, Redskins coach Jay Gruden admitted Tuesday his team can’t really even practice.

“It’s quite the challenge,” Gruden told New York media via conference call. “We’re only going to do walk-throughs this week. We’re pretty dinged up and we don’t have really enough guys to get 11 on 11 right now for look squad (scout team). Most of our look squad guys are going to be playing, so we just got to get them ready to go.”"

Spoiler!

They also play the Giants this week. Any easy win for any competent team. No need to practice.

Three games in 12 days? Isn't that typical when a team plays a Thursday night game?

Day 1 - Sunday
Day 8 - Sunday
Day 12 - Thursday

I think I could have worded that better. It's not that 3 games in 12 days caused all the injuries - rather, how poor is their position when they have 3 games to play in the next 12 days and don't even have enough guys healthy to practice?

Ah, okay. Not busting your chops. I thought that was the story headline.

The skins aren't exactly competent

Truth is KC is a weak team that played weak schedule

Yeah, it was my own substandard amalgamation of headlines from two different articles.

Good point. I think the 49ers proved that even grossly incompetent teams can handle the Giants. Redskins should be fine.

oldman 11-22-2017 10:57 AM

I have a hard time with the Chiefs having 4 games in 31 days and still have injury problems. But that's just me.

Well, your team will not be fine when they play the Redskins! That's for sure...:D

Some of you walk around here like your team is a Super Bowl winner - not ever...as long as I have been around...

Humble pie will do you good after reading some of the posts for the last two weeks.

Truth is the schedule has been far from weak. The easy part should have started after the bye.

My team already beat the Redskins, but whatever. And I’m not sure what Chiefs fans you’re referring to but I know of no Chiefs fans who regard this team as a legitimate Super Bowl contender, let alone winner.

Clearly you’re a ****ing idiot and missed the part I bolded.

The Chiefs schedule has in no way been “weak”.

Wazu:

So, what does that say about the Chiefs losing to the Giants? Are you calling your team 'grossly incompetent'?

Sorry, I am not here to argue - I am here because I enjoy talking football and motor racing with the members I have enjoyed talking with over the years.

However, reading some of these posts I cannot help to think what some members are talking about, like your post above.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Best,

D.

I believe the answer to the first question is yes. At least right now they are playing like a bottom 5 team.

Don't want to look it up but I think a team has played 3 games in 11 days.

Day 1 - Monday
Day 7 - Sunday
Day 11 - Thursday

You should put some new batteries in your sarcasm meter. I know it has been a horrible season for your Giants, but Wazu was picking on the Chiefs with his post, not the Giants.

Happy Turkey day to you!
