Bummer. Seems to always happen to the Chargers. Hate when guys get hurt, especially this early.

When I read this-first thing I thought of was "The luck of the Chargers"

Wonder if they give Gates a look?

As much as I love when the offseason starts, it makes me more anxious than the regular season in terms of injury.

This is why the Chargers shouldn't be considered a contender. They continue to pile up injuries to key players year after year after year. I think that they're jumping the gun a bit though. At least wait until training camp to start with the injuries. I mean are they going for the record or do they already own the record for the most players on IR in a single season?

This. The day I fear the Chargers is the day they show up to week 1 of any season without missing a major player

Do the Chargers' trainers suck ass or something? I know ACL's and the like are kind of fluky, but it's amazing how many injuries they have.

I really think the Chargers aren't doing something right in the draft. They fill their team with injury-prone players and then get shocked when the guys get injured.

We have our own shitty history with injuries, I wouldn't feel too bad or confident that this won't happen to us.

Injuries are part of the game. The Chiefs' turn will come sooner or later where we lose at least one major player and additional players. Just a different year. Injuries are part of the game. You can't use them as an excuse.

Injuries are part of the game, defintitely. However, the Chargers have been absolutely decimated by injuries the last couple of years...and both years it started very early.

When Phillip Rivers finds out about this, he's going to be pissssssed.

You can't argue that Hunter Henry is a bigger loss for the Chargers than Eric Berry was for the Chiefs.

Meh. They were a healthy team last season by NFL standards. Healthier than the Chiefs were iirc.
