Vote for the person that you think would win this match in a battle to death or submission. As background, assume that prior to the tournament you received 10 minutes of training on every weapon. The time listed is the amount of time before the match where you learn what the weaponry and venue is. All participants are handed their weapons at t=0 unless stated otherwise.


Venue - Aboard a nuclear submarine 1,000 feet below the surface in the middle of the Pacific ocean (no sailors on board - remotely piloted).

Wazu and it isn't even close.

I'd simply shoot him and then lock myself in a separate compartment. The curare would stop him from breathing within a few minutes, so as long as I can stay away for 5 minutes or so he'll be dead.

My weapon requires me to hide and wait for wazu. Once I see him and shoot him, I would need to run or lock myself away somewhere. I think I could stay far enough away from a guy who is becoming paralyzed to keep from being stabbed to death.

Weapons don't matter here. Wazu wins by default because Bronco fans are barely smart enough to breathe, let alone fight to the death.

I need to know the length of the blowgun before I can make a decision. If MagicHef can hit him and stay away for 15 minutes the curare would take effect and he can beat wazu to death with his own bat or slit his throat

Curare only takes a minute or two, not 15.

If you're injecting it intravenously that is correct. Inasmuch as it's highly unlikely that you'll hit a vein and it will be an intramuscular injection the time of onset would be 15-20 minutes.

What a tease for Wazu and MagicHef

I’m gonna go ahead and go with this.

Why would magighef have to pursue?

At 279 ft you take other routes and stay out of site lines. Get half way then hide in a cabin or section.

That knife or bat are way more important than a blowgun in this situation where it is not in the open.

If it were a baseball diamond maybe.

The one thing that is certain is that no matter what, I will close the distance and stab MagicHef to death. Whether he can somehow hit me with a dart or not, that’s happening.

Now, add to that he realistically only gets one shot with a weapon he’s never used. I most likely come away completely unscathed.

Can wazu grab something to lose it as a shield? Magichef would need to have Wazu come at him in the narrow hallway and actually hit him first shot followed by locking himself in a room. Not sure why Wazu would allow that.

I think MagicHef's advantage is that a submarine is basically one long hallway, and if they're 279 feet apart, they must be at opposite ends. It seems like they have to close on each other in more or less a straight line. I don't know if that's enough to tilt the contest in MagicHef's favor, though.

Why not just pick up a trash can kid or some shit and use it for cover?

MagicHef thinks the blow gun would make a good pipe. He gets high then stabbed.

That's a viable strategy. I presume there are trash cans on submarines.

Oh I'll have a shield. I'm also an outstanding dodgeball player. He's not hitting me with a dart.

The submarine glides into port and the hatch opens on the conning tower. Wazu steps out, and when questioned he claims that MagicHef was never on the submarine. Investigators find no trace, so wazu moves on to Round 2.
