Between Earl Thomas and Eric Berry, since they were drafted in 2010, Eric Berry has had 5 pro bowl seasons, 3 first team all pro seasons and Thomas has had 6 pro bowl seasons, 3 first team all pro seasons.

That’s a combined 11 pro bowls and 6 first team all pro selections since 2010...

He has the credentials, but I just don't see many teams trading a first for a 29 year old safety. Maybe he deserves it?

And you can figure it'll be the 32nd pick in whatever round so a 3rd is almost a 4th.

Trade Peters to the Rams for a second and then flip it to Seattle for Thomas. Peters for Thomas. I could live with that.

After this w/e when PM2 sets the all-time NFL record for most TD passes in a game ET might just give it a long 2nd look at coming to KC. You know Veach has to be playing that card very hard as well along with teaming up with Berry.:thumb:.

If the compensation is similar, I would think Seattle would rather send Thomas to the AFC than to Dallas.

This sounds great, but I just don't see how we get him on a reasonable contract. If we extend him that is a lot of ****ing money tied up in two 30 year old safeties.

You can expect those two 2nd round picks will be the last two picks in the 2nd. Rams/Chiefs

I’m guessing he would be extended...otherwise he will still be in butthurt mode like he has been with the Seahawks since they have failed to do so... just my guess, though.

Jury is still out on that but they just drafted a first round RB. You'd probably have to offer Hunt.

Thomas’s main beef this offseason has been the Seahawks failing to extend him... so I am guessing any team showing interest probably has intentions of extending him, right? Otherwise you risk inheriting the same drama that Seattle has had with him... I dunno...
