Dan Patrick is a ****ing moron

First off, for those of you that don’t watch/listen to the DP show, he’s been hating on Mahomes all year.

He just had Dungy on who was saying the best two teams in the AFC by far are the Chiefs/Pats.

Dan says he thinks the Chargers are better than us because they have a better overall team.

When the **** is the national media going to realize that we own the Chargers? I can’t think of any other team that could possibly dominate another like we have the Chargers yet still be so disrespected when people talk about the two.

Pasta Little Brioni 10-15-2018 09:41 AM

Didn't we fist the Chargers in StubHub

He's right. Your performance against them wasn't very impressive, either. They only lost due to self inflicted wounds.

Chargers will get better throughout the season, while KC will get worse, as usual.

I expect to see the Chargers in Foxboro for the AFCCG, although I'm hoping for KC, since they're always an easy out for any team in the postseason.

Your Pats fandom, while irritating, is understandable and reasonable. This take, however, is just absolutely reeruned.

It's tired, lazy "narratives" for a lot of the nogs, Mr. staylor26. With Patrick, it's a little different.

He really does have a burn over Wally (or the Chiefs franchise) for some reason.

There's no question that he doesn't like us and hasn't for a very long time ... maybe ever.

KC will have to show me that they can sustain their September level of play before I can see them as a threat. Andy Reid's teams have always started out hot, but have faded down the stretch.

Why Not? 10-15-2018 09:50 AM

Chiefs are the best team in the AFC because, as Parcells once said, "you are what your record says you are". However, I can't get huffy with the media not buying in yet because our defense is such a pile of aids.

Great take. After all the Chargers have beaten the Bills, 49ers, Raiders and Browns.

Their combined record of 6-16-1 is incredible. I was especially impressed by their narrow 2 point win over the CJ Beathard led 49ers... a true NFL juggernaut.

You're a reerun. ROFL Their best win is against CLEVELAND, and the Browns are ****ing awful.

AFC is looking weak this year. I can definitely see a team like the Chargers sneak their way in.

The Ravens are also a fairly strong possibility.

PunkinDrublic 10-15-2018 10:02 AM

We haven’t lost to the Chargers since 2003. They always look good on paper but are poorly coached and Rivers falls apart in high pressure situations.

ROFL KC has the better coach, QB and weapons than the Chargers.

In typical Patriots fashion, the refs swallow the flags all game long and when kc makes a play, they have to make off-setting penalties. KC lost by 3, without numerous starters out and Mahomes made mistakes. Your ass is getting kicked in January.

With what the Pats have accomplished over the last 20 years I don't expect an insecure Pats troll on a Chiefs board validating his team and dissing the Chiefs with the same old arguments that all of us have known for 40+ years (playoff failures, September darlings, Chargers being favored etc. the troll has nothing fresh to offer).

Mangini was brutal today. I was expecting Nick Wright to leave the table. Mangini going back to that let’s wait until defenses get tape on him and said this game is one teams can see what the Patriots did to limit him. Said the Patriots did a better job than Denver. Wright was foaming at the mouth like, they scored 40 points! Mangini actually responded with, “well 33 points because of the long kick return.”

Mangini also returning to look at Watson, Prescott, and Carr as evidence that Mahomes will fall off.

Also said we started out hot last season and fell off so he doesn’t think it’s relevant to talk about seeding with them.

This is flawless logic.

Obviously this means the Eagles will defeat the patriots in the superbowl with Nick Foles.

Since apparently everything is a repeat of last season. That's analysis you can bank on. "Remember last year? Same stuff will happen!"

There's a script to everything they say

There can't be everyone on the table slobbering over the players cock, especially a young player. You turn into GMFB at that point, without Kay Adams and with Jenna or Molly which is even worse.

Case in point, Stephen A was the designated Mahomes 'hater' and Kellerman worshiped him. Now they basically switched roles because Stephen A has finally seen the light and Kellerman was forced to be the 'voice of reason'.

Marcellus 10-15-2018 12:48 PM

Dak Prescott had 45 TD's in his first two seasons.

It's entirely possible Mahomes has more than that this year. He's on pace for 48.

CervezaChill 10-15-2018 01:00 PM

Ex pro players get it, they all love Mahomes

Those who actually understand the complexity and the skill required to make those downfield throws or accurate passes, in and out of pocket, appreciate Mahomes more.

Box score analysts and talking heads often lack that perspective. That's why a lot of them compare Mahomes to noodle arm Deshaun Watson or Dak Prescott even now.
