Changing my mind on Ware
He's clutch. I have been tough on him for being a JAG but hes proving to be a chain mover. He made big conversions today.
|
Good on you for admitting this after your earlier posts about him
|
I was sitting on my couch wondering what was on Red Dawg's mind. So I refreshed CP and saw this thread. We must be on the same wavelength.

Who cares

He is great depth, but it would have been nice for him to flash some before the deadline and we might have been able to swap him out for a piece on defense.
|
What the **** is wrong with you?
|
That first down run in the first was sick.
|
He has the right attitude. He's been a huge team player. JAG or not it's not hard to root for him.

We made a move for Hunt and past on Kuhmara. I thought that was a goof but Hunt is very good. Ware is a JAG but he's proven to be useful and hasn't disappointed when being demoted. Respect to him being solid.

He is shaking off the rust at the perfect time
A real gamer and team guy, a luxury backup |

He had 921 rushing yards in 2016
He’s no scrub, or a JAG |
Ok, neat.

Man, if only we'd be lucky enough to get a pete thread this evening as well about how he feels!

This guy's been solid since day one in my mind. If it wouldn't of been for injury, he would of lead the league in rushing last year.

Spence is fine. I really think he understands and accepts his role, like everyone on the offense. He'll have his opportunities to do what he can to help the team. It feels like they are all on that page. No Me-Me prima donnas. Just win whatever it takes. I love it.

Lol Ware is not a JAG he'd be a starter on most teams. We haven't really bothered to get him going after the injury because Hunts done so well. But make no mistake about it he isn't just another Charcandrick West.

He's good.
In 2016 thru 6 or 7 games he was on a damn near MVP type pace. He's a good player that had a bad injury and got Wally Pipped a bit. It's ok to have multiple good players at the same position. Especially RB. |

Ware looked great- another big weapon for Mahomes. He definitely has his speed back, plus he is hard to bring down.
This team is loaded. Hunt, Ware and Sausage are a nice group. |
He's lost about .2 seconds off his 40 yard dash. He looks slow every time he gets in the open field. Like, that third and 20 screen pass yesterday took a half hour. But he's got some value. I'd still look for another RB2 hit offseason.

He made some great plays Sunday. I don't know how he caught that ball Mahomes threw too far out in front of him. It was a clutch third down play.
|
Ware looked great against Cleveland. I think Ware just looks better with a limited number of carries so he stays fresh.
|
Not surprising that Mahomes and Hunt motivate thus elevate everyone else's play on this team including Ware. No doubt it has been a good thing and not that Ware ever needed to be motivated because in my mind he has always been rock solid when healthy. It looks like he has put on a bit more mass to his frame and he is running as nasty as ever and what I have always like about him.:thumb:
