Here's a few links to discussions about the LA/KC Mexico MNF game.

We're gonna **** them in the nose, m8

I think losing Kupp really hurts them.
We played Cooks with Brady last year, he had three catches for 88 yards with brady throwing him the ball. We need to contain Gurley. And if we do, we're in business. I am not all that worried about our offense putting up points, especially in a prime time game. The difference with the modern day Chiefs is we have players that rise to the occasion, I mean Hill is a monster in night games. Hunt also seems to play big in huge games. |
<a href="https://ibb.co/idw7nq"><img src="https://image.ibb.co/f4crDV/ram1.png" alt="ram1" border="0"></a>
Take out those three games and "Their" defense gives up 29.71 points a game <a href="https://ibb.co/hYxV7q"><img src="https://image.ibb.co/bFsK0A/Chiefs1.png" alt="Chiefs1" border="0"></a> Meanwhile our defense gives up 24.87 |
Also - I doubt Donald gets a suspension - but if so; won't be effective in a week from now. So go ahead and forget that thinking.
|
Our defense has been playing much better than theirs since the first three games. Outside of the Patriots loss we're averaging 17.5 ppg. With the Pats loss we're averaging just over 21. The point differential in those games is 90 with only two coming by one score of less (both Bronco games). Outside of the Patriot game the Chiefs haven't given up more than 23 points in any game during the last 7 games.
The Rams are the polar opposites of the Chiefs. They started out strong in the first three games and have since fallen off a cliff giving up slightly more than 29 per game on average and giving up more than 30 four times. The point differential in those games is 48 with 5 of them coming by one score or less. |
Here’s my take:
We’re going to beat their ass! |

Sam Bradford was still Arizona's QB when the Lambs played them in September, and Jimmy G was still the 49ers QB for most of the Chiefs game, so using Arizona/SF as a similar opponents comparison is not accurate.

Everyone who is keying in on yards and that we're ranked 31st is ignoring that we have a lot of big plays on that side of the ball and we're not consistently giving up a lot of points like the Rams have been doing. I also think Andy will have a plan in place to negate - as much as you can - Aaron Donald coming up the middle. The key to Arizona doing what they did yesterday was keeping Mahomes from slipping out of the pocket and covering receivers just that extra beat or two. The Rams have neither the corners nor the edge rushers to duplicate that performance. |
We have the better QB. That’s all you need to know.
|
Our Defense as only given up 9 more points than their elite D

Every defense in this league is getting abused. The key is turnovers and stops. That's all I care about. |

I've watched him practice and he takes every reception to the house. He never gets tired. I'm going to assume Wade will put 2 defenders (hill or peters and Joyner?) on him the entire game. That would leave Kelce being covered by a LB one on one though. I don't know. I think the Rams need to score 50 to win this game! |
Also, the Rams have fans????

Early in this board's days when the Rams were still the greatest show on turf, they had that gay ass dude who wrote Rams fantasy fanfiction. It was like "Book of the Golden Horns" or some shit like that.
That's how I imagine a bunch of these "Rams" fans |

Every team’s opposing fans always say “we’re going to put a stop to this Mahomes crap” and then they get lit up every week LMAO
|
I totally get why they're cocky. I mean, they have every right to be. But dismissing PMII and the chiefs is just dumb.

Cooper Kupp injury update: Rams WR out for season with torn ACL, report says NFL
The Rams' fears have been confirmed.
Cooper Kupp is expected to miss the remainder of the season after being diagnosed with a torn ACL suffered Sunday against the Seahawks, ESPN reported, citing sources. Kupp left the game in the fourth quarter Sunday with a knee injury, and, after the team's 36-31 win, coach Sean McVay told reporters the injury was "not good," per NFL.com. Kupp undwerwent an MRI on Monday that confirmed the severity of the injury. The wide receiver went down on the field in pain after running a route that didn't appear to involve any contact. After being tended to, he limped to the locker room. http://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/cooper-kupp-injury-update-rams-knee-torn-acl-out-for-season-nfl-news/g5ywcn92mtja142n0ydajom2p |

Kelce seemed like the only player off on offense last time we played in Denver, hopefully it wasn't an altitude issue. I am with Reid though, I don't think a few days makes any difference. |

I think we manage to get into Peter's head and make him do something dumb.

Rams fans are interesting. There's a mix of good football fans, former Raider fan idiots, Dodger fan idiots, and transplants who are following the team because they are good.
Let's put it this way: there are a lot more Rams fans than Charger fans! |

We have the better QB. We have a HC with a massive amount more experience.
That's going to have to win us the game because we are at a disadvantage in the trenches. |
Who will disappoint more Sutton or Wade ? That's what each team is asking.

Losing Kupp is like us losing one of Hill/Kelce/Hunt. How can it not hurt the team?
|
Quote:
Watkins is our 3rd best downfield receiving threat (after Kelce and Hill). Kupp is their third best (after Cooks and Woods). Watkins is probably our fourth best weapon overall on offense (after Kelce, Hill, and Hunt). Kupp is their fourth best as well (after Gurley, Cooks, and Woods). Big loss, but probably doesn’t completely derail their season. Definitely takes away an important element to their offense though. |
My boss is a Rams fan. We must crush them. That is all.

That shit makes me nervous. |
I've been to several places in Mexico, met a dude on a cruise who was telling me about being in Mexico City.
Basically told me it's dangerous as **** however he liked it there because in his words a cop stops you for anything shake his hand with a 50 in your palm and you're good to go every single time no matter what. Dude was Mexican lol, but yea I've been to a lot of places in the Carribean/Mexico and no way I'd go to Mexico city. |
