We'll be fine

That was a fun, crazy game with a heartbreaking conclusion... but honestly?

We'll be fine.

(For real!)

Thanks!

TLO 11-19-2018 11:31 PM

I agree

ShowtimeSBMVP 11-19-2018 11:31 PM

2 L on the year. Both by 3 points @ NE and LA. I’m not worried at all scoring a combined 91 points lol

pugsnotdrugs19 11-19-2018 11:32 PM

We’re winning 8 straight

-King- 11-19-2018 11:32 PM

Yeah, it's a learning experience for the playoffs. Bummed we didn't get the win but not exactly angry either

We're going to be fine. The kid will learn from some of the mistakes he made.

Future is bright. Shit, nobody though we'd be here at this point. Enjoy the Bye and happy Thanksgiving!

Pretty cool that even the losses this year are legitimately fun to watch... and don't instill a deep sense of dread the way similarly close games would have in the past. This is just a speed bump.

Enjoy the third highest scoring game in NFL history. It was a blast. Have a safe week and enjoy the holiday.

Very nice post! Thank u!

I don't think these guys are losing a home game.

Go get that #1 seed.

You too, friend!

Direckshun 11-19-2018 11:37 PM

We’ll be better in January than we are today.

We’ll have Berry and Sammy back.

mr. tegu 11-19-2018 11:38 PM

I tend to agree but we Chiefs fans are always stuck searching for the bright side. It gets old.

This.

We basically having a rookie QB playing at an elite QB level already, with some occasional mistakes mixed in. It’s fine. He’ll learn.

We’re 9-2 at the bye, only losses to Rams & Pats on road on game ending drives, #1 seed in the AFC and favorable schedule the rest of the way.

Tough loss, but a learning experience. Better to have the close heart breaking losses now than in the playoffs. Pat will learn and get better.

Keep the playoffs at Arrowhead and we’ll roll into the Super Bowl. Would love to rematch the Rams, but have a feeling it will be the Saints.

Rest up. Enjoy the bye week and other teams beating each other up. Come back to work in Oakland and kick some ass.

It’s all good.

Not even mad at our guys, in any way at all

I'm still in shock at just how much fight we had, repeatedly roaring back in the face of virulent ref ****ery... its rare to be proud of a loss, but they showed us something tonight

Nickhead 11-19-2018 11:40 PM

it sucks i had to work during this game. normally i wouldn't watch a loss i missed live, but im gonna watch this one.

****ing 105 points WOW!

what was the over/under again? ROFL

Tough SOBs. This is NOT a soft football team like some would like to believe.

Well said - he’s essentially a rook - our D is pathetic and yet here we sit at 9-2 - ESPN just said first time a team has scored 50 and lost - maybe we should give Sutton an extension - he’s only blown 2 of the biggest collapses in playoff history - he’s the first defensive cooridinator to do this.

Define soft?? Are you saying our defense sucks balls but aren’t soft?

Bump 11-19-2018 11:43 PM

we're averaging 45.5 points per loss.

Why Not? 11-19-2018 11:43 PM

Yeah we're good. Just a bummer that we never seem to be able to win these kind of games.

BWillie 11-19-2018 11:45 PM

I don't think anybody is worried about the Chiefs after this one. Tons of mistakes. Still almost won.

That was exhausting Kween. Good effort - we'll get them next time - or the Saints, I mean.

chiefqueen 11-19-2018 11:50 PM

I would feel better if Jax did not play "not to lose" yesterday.

Pittsburgh is capable of beating the Saints in NO.

We no longer have any margin for error for HFA and have not lost our "game we have no business losing" yet.

We have a 1.5 game lead on the Steelers and a much easier schedule, Chargers and Pats are still the bigger threats to home field.

We have a half game lead on the Steelers right?

EPodolak 11-20-2018 12:30 AM

Six points from being undefeated, would say we ARE fine.

RunKC 11-20-2018 12:30 AM

Aaron Donald is in the NFC. That makes me feel better.

I don't think there's an AFC team that can beat us. I think Houston probably poses the biggest threat.

We lost to a possible NFC champion by 3 points with no Sammy(played one possession), Berry and 2 starting interior offensive linemen.

WBF

Houston is no threat. The only threats are teams that can score with us. The defense of the opposing team literally doesn’t matter. So really the only threat I see is the Steelers in the AFC. We want them to be the two seed. I think if we get the 1 and them the 2 we are in the Super Bowl. I won’t be excited about playing them but at home I think we get it done. Whoever we play in the first game will be nothing more than a sacrificial lamb.

But if we lose 1 game we're a half game behind them, providing they beat the donkeys this weekend.

true, that tie on their record actually makes our tiebreaker meaningless. They should be 8-2-1 barring another donkey upset and we will still be 9-2.

Funny how we spent most of our time worried about New England and kinda sorta the Chargers. Meanwhile the Steelers quietly snuck right back into it.

Steelsrs also look the most dangerous.

kcpasco 11-20-2018 05:35 AM

Sutton and this defense are going to **** this team in January. Mahomes will have an awesome performance and grandpa Bob and his band of assholes will **** it up.

tooge 11-20-2018 06:59 AM

Yep. Lost on the road against a top three offense and the refs. Chiefs will be fine

Yup. Definitely feels that way. LBs and secondary are absolute trash. Good offenses will be a problem in the playoffs. Our two losses say it all. Offense put up a legit 40 on NE and last night 44 and we lost both because the defense failed. Yes turnovers hurt bad but what do your eyes tell you. Mahomes walkied off tue field with a 4 point lead and it was gone a minute later. Thats dog shit defense and Sutton should takebthe blame.
