Kelvin Benjamin is available [and has signed with the Chiefs, but not really, just a dumbass bump]
|
Why? He's legit awful.
|
No we shouldn't
|
We don't need another Wide Receiver.
|
He's already dropped 3 passes and we haven't even signed him yet.
|
Our offense is about as in sync as it can get.
Don’t want to add anyone unless it’s a good rb |
I didn't know he was a RB.

Backup left tackle?
|
I'd rather see us use that roster spot on somebody who can help Mahomes.
|
He can hold my beer while I'm tailgating.

There's a reason why he was let go this late into the season, just after the Bills traded away picks for the guy.
Without know the details, the eye test would leave me to believe that he's a slow fat lazy pos and the Bills got tired of his act, just as the Panthers did. Why would the Chiefs want that in their locker room when they're in the middle of grooming their franchise QB during a SB run? |
Dip the football and ranch and the mother****er will probably go off for 12 and 250.

Benjamin is a unit of monetary measurement Using a logical approach, Sherlock Holmes style deductive reasoning if you will, I would speculate that he likes Money AND Spicy Foods. So maybe tape money and dip the football in buffalo wing sauce |
Lol
|
He can eat nachos in the luxury boxes with Holmes and Berry...

The article I read about him yesterday said he "sticks to defenders like glue." LMAO
Yeah, no thanks. |

how does a wide receiver, one who's job is to run constantly, get fat?

Don’t think we need an OL with LDT coming back.
|
I read an article today stating he was an asshole and a locker room cancer. There's a reason Buffalo let this guy go despite trading picks for him. Think it was fansided that sent me an email about it
|
The replies to that twitter post are grade A, worth a read
|
Wonder if since kareem is gone the chiefs can get a wavier and bring back Canadian doc and watts at the same time?

That's a bad sign for Sammy Watkins, no?

Well, Veach does seem to like taking fliers on guys like him.

Benjamin with the KC BBQ!!!
|
Who the duck is Eric Himmelhaber?
|
Think he would make the move to TE?

Hill Watkins Conley Robinson Kemp Dieter I mean I guess if you put either Kemp or Dieter on the practice squad....but it's not like Benjamin's fat ass plays STs. |
This move doesn’t make any sense. Guy is like a fatter Dwayne Bowe
|
Schefter confirmed. Why not take a look?
|
This would be a great move. He's a better version of Conley.
Don't forget he had 2,000 yards and 16 TD his first two seasons. |

With Watkins gimpy and the young guys not really stepping up, I'd definitely take him.

Could contribute at safety.

It might be a situation where they view him as a guy they can line up inside and get some favorable matchups, he's kind of a tweener at this point.
|
I don’t love Benjamin right now, but I’m be willing to give him a shot to change his ways and get comfortable here in KC on a cheap deal.
I mean if he’s in this offense he will be 1 on 1 at all times and that is easy money on fade routes. |
He'd never sign one, but I'd offer him a veterans minimum deal with damn near nothing guaranteed for this season and next. If I'm going to pay him to do pretty much dick this year, I'd want to have him locked in for next season as well.
At that point I'd start working on him as a Demetrius Harris replacement. Give him an offseason to turn some of that fat into muscle and work on the position; he may be a dangerous #2 TE. |

Benjamin in the red zone could be interesting.

However, we can only score so many TDs. The defense eventually has to do SOMETHING. |
When a guy like Dieter is on the roster there is nothing wrong with kicking the tires for some WR depth.

Or they know he'll ultimately sign with the Patriots, so fill him with misinformation and lies about our intentions through the playoffs.

Just hope he cuts the bullshit with blaming others for his failures. He needs to own that fact that he's been a fat, lazy piece of shit as a WR outside of his rookie season thus far in his career.
|
I don’t even think we’d really see him on the field most of the time, especially this late in the season.
Just bring him in for RZ/goal line plays and add the threat of a fade. |
There aren't enough ribs in KC for both Benjamin and Reid.
|
Quote:
|
its brilliant. Let him come here for a handful of games. Pat will make him look better than he is. Some dumb team will sign him in the off-season. Comp Pick to the Chiefs.
|
Teams already worry enough down in the RZ about Kelce and all of the misdirection options KC has. Adding Benjamin, who can easily go up and grab a pass up high over 95% of NFL corners, makes plenty of sense for that reason alone.
Basically just let Mahomes look at the defense and take what is there. |
Quote:
|
He could also view it as a way to spike his value, maybe finish the year out and play next year. Put up some big numbers with Mahomes and parlay it into a contract somewhere else.
|
Harris has been decent as well this year. 3 TDs from the #6 or #7 option in your offense has to feel pretty good.
|
Hitting him up for info on how Buffalo attacked (tried to attack) the Ravens, Texans and Pats?

Watkins Conley Robinson Benjamin Works for me. That gives so many ****ing options in the redzone. |
Put his big ass at tight end.
Maybe he's here to challenge andy to a BBQ eating contest? |
He did have Nathan Peterman as his starting QB for multiple games. I'd be ****ing miserable too.
