Multiple Records to be broken Sunday

#1) Patrick Mahomes already has the most TD's in a season by any Chiefs QB with 48 and will add to that Sunday against the Raiders and may become only the 3rd QB to reach 50 with Brady and Manning. He may also become only the 2nd player ever to reach the 50 TD/5000 yard mark.

#2) Tyreek Hill needs only 14 yards to reach the Chiefs all time receiving yards leader Derrick Alexander with 1391

#3) Travis Kelce needs 54 yards to surpass Rob Gronkowski with the most yards in a season by a TE

#4) Chris Jones owns the all time most consecutive games with a sack at 12 and will add to that with a sack sunday.

I'm sure there are more, feel free to add them in.

Gonna bust your hogs hymen

Halfcan 12-28-2018 11:38 AM

Mahomes will finish the season owning every regular season Chiefs passing record.

Hog's Gone Fishin 12-28-2018 11:41 AM

Mahomes needs 184 to hit 5000

MahiMike 12-28-2018 11:55 AM

#5) Sutton's defense gives up most points in a season

One quick correction: Jones has a sack in 11 straight games currently which is the all time NFL record but not 12.

PHOG 12-28-2018 12:04 PM

Bob Sutton's regular season streak being Chiefs DC comes to an end. :grovel:

Sassy Squatch 12-28-2018 12:05 PM

If the Chiefs give up 8 first downs to the Raiders they'll break the record for most 1st downs surrendered in a season.

So what you're saying.....is that we're breaking that record.

How awesome would it be if Mahomes threw 8 TDs and hit 56? It's very very unlikely but it's not impossible.

jcarp 12-28-2018 12:23 PM

5477 is the record for season yds all time

55 is the all time TD season, as mentioned

122.5 is the rating to beat, I think

ptlyon 12-28-2018 12:25 PM

It's GOING to happen

jcarp 12-28-2018 12:26 PM

He just needs 662 yds to beat the season yds total...hehe

Oops, not true, it's Heinz 57, not 55.

Deberg_1990 12-28-2018 12:30 PM

Not sure if Kelce breaks record. Maybe Reid and Mahomes force things to him?

jcarp 12-28-2018 12:32 PM

I really hope Benjamin is not part of the game plan. If so, we WILL see dropped passes.

He had 168 yards and 2 TDs the last time he played the Raiders.

Actually that record is 533 by Baltimore in 1981.

Mahomes will never break this record. It is 100% owned by several including Dontari Poe and amazing QB, Billy Joe Toliver.

Mahomes will never be as great as Todd Collins. 83.3 in 2002, 75 in 2003, and 75 in 2001. :shake: Collins should have been NFL MVP those years like Brees this year-lol

Mahomes sits at 369 Completions on 556 Attempts Exact same stat line as Trent Green (16 games).

Mahomes has 114.0 QBR since some on here think that is soo important- highest in Chiefs history and 10 points higher than Alex.

Mahomes TD % of 8.6 shattered the old record, same as his TD's thrown and yardage will.

Mahomes is having Greatest season in Chief's history and one of the best in NFL history.

Mahomes also has 271 Rushing yards at 4.7 per attempt. 2 TD's.

smithandrew051 12-28-2018 01:10 PM

8 passing TDS for Mahomes.

Takes the single game and season record.

Blick 12-28-2018 01:11 PM

Not a record, but still impressive.... we are sitting at 530 points scored, which is 9th all time in NFL history right in front of the 99 Rams. With 26 points, we would tie the 98 Vikings for 5th all time. 31 or more points would put us in the top 3.

chiefzilla1501 12-28-2018 01:12 PM

It's a huge bar... But if he puts up 476 yards and 6 TDs he'll have the most productive season of any qb in history.

crayzkirk 12-28-2018 01:14 PM

Even if it's not a record, just get that first round bye.

I hope this is a game where Andy goes for the kill and never lets up. I think rolling the Raiders and winning by 3 scores or more would be great for momentum heading into the bye week and would give the shittier players some confidence maybe.

I'm hoping to see 500 yards and 6 TDs from Mahomes in person.

Yeah, but that was the year of illegal ****ing pick plays that the NFL for whatever reason decided were legal when Manning wanted to use them.

Andy will pull him before that happens.

Yea the only way we get to 56 points is if the faiders score 50+

I doubt it because however many touchdowns Mahomes throws, it's likely that the Raiders will have just as many rushing touchdowns, or half rushing and have receiving. Either way, our defense will keep Mahomes in the game.

Winning is more important than records right now.

Marada 12-29-2018 12:17 PM

Isn't Mahomes also close to the record for number of different receivers catching a touchdown?

I'm wanting to think I remember hearing that record is 13 and I BELIEVE Mahomes has 12. Deiter needs to snag one.
