Demarcus Robinson breakout player of the year?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Keep an eye on WR Demarcus Robinson. Reid really believes there is a connection between him and Mahomes and feels Mahomes really trusts him a lot. The more Mahomes scrabbles the harder Robinson works to get open. A connection it appears Reid believes could blossom.</p>— James Palmer (@JamesPalmerTV) <a href="https://twitter.com/JamesPalmerTV/status/1117909780708741121?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 15, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I have a goooooood feeling about Dieter.
|
Mahomes needs to do a better job saving his Qs for the bonus squares. Also, there's absolutely no shame in re-drawing your board. Very underrated strategy, especially if it's a low-scoring game with a lot of small words.
|
Don't remember who said it, but someone made a good point that he's a freelancer. Not great at the routine stuff. But a good weapon when in a scramble drill. So breakout player seems a stretch but especially with Mahomes at qb that's a nice role player to have.

People say the same thing every year about Robinson.
|
I like Robinson a lot. Dude has a knack for the big play. And he runs some beastly routes. Everytime we saw him in WR/DB drills in camp he put on a ****ing clinic.
And that move to get open on Pat's 50? Thing of beauty. I'm all in on Demarcus Robinson. |

Of course!
497 yards receiving. 4 TDs |
Robinson is gonna shine this year. I’m projecting 7-10 TDs for him. 500 Yards

I’m pretty sure Pat is going to look for his buddy every chance he gets. |

4 TD's from your 5th receiver? Yeah i'll take that. |

Yes, i'm going to blame Reid and Mahomes for not prioritizing him over Hill, Watkins, Kelce and the RB. |

You can't just ignore those either. |
His connection with Pat was evident very early on in the 2017 preseason
He is why they were comfortable letting Conley go, dude could (and likely will) have a breakout year... I kind of see him as a new age Antonio Freeman |

I believe that some of you are completely insane. |
No.
Sorry, but there's only one football. There aren't enough opportunities for him to "break out". Reek Kelce Watkins Running plays Screens to Williams Robinson He's 6th in line for touches. |
I called this last year.
|
I'm gonna say no.

Remember that long TD against Oakland for the 50th TD?
That wasn't designed. Robinson reacted to the defense and Mahomes dialed him up. I think Mahomes called it "D-Rob being D-Rob. That's not what he was supposed to do but he saw what was going on." or something to that effect. |

I like Robinson, he's got a spring in his step. He's solid and exactly the reason you don't spend 20 mil per year on skill players. You can have a solid group without killing your cap on one guy.
|
He’s a fine 3 or 4.
He’s not a guy that’s gonna really pull coverage or help get anyone else open |
That's my boy...

So basically he's saying that the Tryeek hill situation is ****ed and Robinson will get a lot more balls thrown his way since none will be thrown to Tyreek?
|
Yip!!!!!!!!
|
He will get a lot of the looks Conley and Harris used to get as well as his own looks.. because he should be playing a bigger role.
Conley - 32 catches for 334 yards and 5tds. Harris - 12 catches for 164 yards and 3tds Robinson - 22 catches for 288 yards and 4 TDs. I wouldn’t be shocked at all to see him get 45-50 catches for 600 yards and 8 TDs. Pats gonna be throwing a lot and Robinson will be out there more and Pat has chemistry with him. |

Watkins - often hurt DAT - gone Harris - gone Robinsons gonna get a lot more playing time. |
