Some decent nuggets in here. Megathreads are crazy so I figured I'd post this in a thread of its own.

* No new info on Hill.

* Veach was pursuing Clark from the very beginning - as soon as Ford was traded. Their plan all along.

* Veach said Frank doesn't really have any weaknesses. A trade of this magnitude would only happen if Clark is elite.

* They repeatedly harped on him being able to give effort EVERY single play. Felt like they were throwing shade at guys from last year.

* DV experience changed him, made his heart bigger.

* Came to win some ****ing championships, his purpose is bigger than money.

* He was homeless at one point. Battled depression. Matured past it all.

* Knew Pat was going to be MVP the moment he evaded Frank's sack attempt with a spin move.

* Called Spags a legend and wants to learn from him.

Overall I can confirm. Frank is absolutely not a piece of shit.

Did someone actually say that homelessness and depression are things you "mature past"?

Anyway, he does seem nice. Hopefully that's the case. I believed Tyreek had changed, too.

This guy seems pretty candid...I think someone asked him about the shit from college and he answered very well, not making excuses and speaking from the heart about it...I'm impressed by that...

if the chiefs brass were smart they'd start ALL interviews with something of the "we will not field any questions on tyreek hill. there is nothing to report right now. any questions on the matter will end in the exit of the reporter(s)".

Somehow HB is already the leader of the D/2nd on team after Mahomes. I love it. Clark seems like he's gonna be a leader up front.

I hope he sees the media frenzy over our former WR and it gives him a moment of pause when he’s about to go full reerun.

If there’s any upside to this, maybe it will be a reminder to guys like Clark (or anyone else for that matter), how important it is to keep focused on football and being a mature adult.

Hill and Hunt have cost themselves tens of millions of dollars in all this.

damn, that's crazy. the guy really does seem like a genuine and honest guy. seems like hes really learned and grown from what hes went through. he should be great for the lockerroom and the community

I am such a damn homer ...

At about 7:00 or so into the presser, somebody asks Mad Dog Clark about playing on the same team as Mahomes. He talks about preparing and playing the Chiefs and tells a very nice, specific, detailed story about a single play and when he knew Mahomes was going to be the MVP.

I experienced a cathartic reaction. Homer chills.
