Jamie Collins LB to KC?
Tomorrow is the first day that teams can sign free agents that don’t figure in draft pick compensation.

|

Yeah, Belichick broomed an uber-athletic freak, in the middle of what would end up being a SB-winning season because he didn't give good effort on "1 play". That's it! Jaime Collins summary: -- stunningly awesome athlete. Does things no one else can do. -- inconsistent effort. -- free-lancer. Does not play with discipline or structure. Values sacks/stats more than working within the framework of the defense. -- does not possess elite instincts. Will go to the wrong gap, overrun plays, etc. THAT is why BB broomed him. And it was stunning to the team and the defense. The locker room was in complete shock. But there's nothing that drives BB more crazy than not knowing what he will get from a guy. Even if you're not as good, if you're consistent he can work around it, compensate for it, etc. If you're just inconsistent, then you just gotta pray, and that drives him nuts. |
No to Collins.
Spend instead on a CB in trade. Go get Ben Watson to be TE #2. Profit. |

That #27 looked good.

I'd do it if it were dumpster diving rates.
|
Any word on how big this guys dick is? We need someone to replace Houston.
|
And if you aren't playing hard for the Pats there's no reason to think he'd play hard for anybody else.
|
Collins was very productive last year and usually stays healthy. He's had one serious injury where he missed 10 games.
Depends on the money. Last year he has 73 solo tackles, 13 TFL, 8 QB hits, 4 sacks, 4 PD, 1 int. |
This guy is going to get like a 1 year 2 million dollar deal, lets not act like signing him is going to prevent any other moves or break the team.
It's a nice piece when you lack depth at the position. |
LB and CB gonna be huge needs next offseason

Anyone spot the error with the bold part above? |
So this is just a prediction?
Highly doubt it’s happening. |
Would consider signing Mo Claiborne to a cheap deal. He had a career year last year in NY.
No that doesn’t mean he would start. He’d be a hell of a lot better than many teams 4th corners.. |

John Lovett please |
Pretty sure this Arrowhead addict guy is wrong Collins wouldn't count against the comp pick formula since he was cut

KC might sign Collins but it has nothing to do with May 7th date and the comp formula. |

Well, cheating pays. They pay their QB below market value which artificially helps them manage cap space. I would bet there is an off shore or back-end deal with Brady. I could be wrong. He could just love winning more than money. And not to mention that between endorsements and his super model wife, money on his deal isn't as big of a concern. Regardless if they are doing it illegally or Tom is genuinely giving them a home town discount, having a below market value contract for Brady has been very helpful for them to sustain their success. |

I bet after he retires, that business relationship is severed. |
