KC ranked higher than Phoenix tells me this article is bogus.

Hmmm. I’ve lived at varying times in Plano, OP, Gilbert , and not to far from Pearl City. Guess I’m a happy mother****er.

Bullshit. Its Kansas. Nobody is happy in this state.

Grand Prairie, TX on this list? Pretty damn obvious no one who "contributed" to the article has ever been there. It's a Dump situated between Dallas and Arlington.

Cali cuh gang gang

More proof tyreek didnt do it

I wonder how many Chick Fil A's they'd need to add to move up to 11th.

Pretty happy in South OP. I agree with this list. :)

Question for anyone who's been there: what the **** is so special about California?

I lived in OP for a bit. I'm MUCH happier in PHX. Mileage may vary. |
That list is bullshit
No way Madison Wisconsin is the 3rd happiest place It's in Wisconsin |

Peeps here prefer 112 over 12. Personally, I love 112. Perfect pool weather and evening outside patio living. It's wonderful actually. |

Yeah, but it's a dry heat. With scorpions.

Driving perhaps but I like driving in LA, though I've never been a commuter there. |
Can't trust a list that has a city w/most fecal matter/square mile in SF.

Are Oxycodone prescriptions per capita included in the 'happyness' index?
|
I'm happy every frickin' day when I can drive home to Missouri OUTTA OP!

People in KC should stay and enjoy the humidity and 100 degree heat indexes when it's 87 in the summer, and the zero degree wind chills when it's 20 degrees in the winter.... and not seeing the sun peek out of the clouds for days at a time is healthy for you or something. Those 3 weeks of nice weather in October are amazing. Arizona sucks. Stay out. Thanks. |

We can high-five in our shorts on the Hermosa Pier and then put back some pacificos and watch the sun set. |

Pete's is a couple blocks from my place on Colfax. They have two for one drinks. It's a recipe for forgetting things. And maybe accidentally ending up face down in the LA river.

Yes I am well aware I'm the one who told Jonathan to move it there!
Then the Draft got new management and cleaned the place up and became Thirsty Merchant and now I kinda want to go back haha |

With all the Zona folks chiming in all BRC style I'm tempted to call it the Florida of the southwest.

People are Happiest in Plano, Texas? The must love traffic.

Not to get all Jud Crandall on here but something in the ground there is sour. Town has a really ****ed up suicide history, especially amongst younger people. |
I always hear how wonderful Arizona is but I don't think I could handle 115 degree dry heat every day of the summer. Yes, I know what a dry heat feels like.

Phoenix (Photos)
Tucson (Photos) Flagstaff (Photos) Avondale (Photos) Mesa (Photos) Glendale (Photos) Apache Junction (Photos) Yuma (Photos) Buckeye (Photos) Holbrook (Photos) The city with highest murder rate in Arizona? That would be Holbrook with 19.7 murders per 100,000 people. While the city with highest number of murders period? Phoenix with 157. |

Really? I visited there last year and didn’t care for the city at all. Did enjoy Alcatraz and going up into Sonoma and of course Oracle Park is gorgeous. But the inner city itself is so crowded and the streets filled with the homeless. Maybe I’m just used to the Midwest but I couldn’t see how anyone would be happy in SF. Clearly you’ve never been here. We are always drunk so of course we are happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Good for OP. Have nothing but good things to say about my short time working there last summer before moving to KY (for work and work only). I would definitely welcome moving back a few years down the line to settle down for good.
|
Glad to here it. Other than the JoCo douche bros I went to HS with, Overland Park was a great place to grow up. Whenever I’m back in KC for a Chiefs game, I spend a day driving around the neighborhoods I used to live in.
