Does Kevin Kietzman deserve to be fired/forced to resign?
 

I'm not 100% on the KK news from today. But figured we'd start a thread to discuss this topic.

He deserved to be fired 15 years ago.

But this has put him in the crosshairs of some national guys with a lot of reach. Owning the station is all that might save his ass and even that might not be enough this time.

And man, that's a shame...

Gonna be hard to force the guy that has a stake in ownership off the air. Even if that were to be accomplished, he's still getting money for all the listeners and 94,000 ads they air.

The push should be to make him sell his stake.

Can I get a quick cliff notes version of what happened? I've been so busy today I haven't been able to keep up.

I have a tendency to listen to as many Chiefs podcasts as I can in the morning while I'm getting ready and invariably by Thursday I'd have run out of material and would have to listen to Kietzman. He also had Seth Keysor on so I'd listen to that little clip as well.

And even when he's on air with someone truly interesting, he's still god-awful.

He'll be suspended for a week or so (during a time of year that is almost completely irrelevant) and they'll bring him back after his apology tour. This will roll right off his back.

Just like everything has for nearly 2 decades.

University of Kansas Health System is one of their advertisers. Joselyn Jewelers also, i believe. Lot of ads for local erectile dysfunction doctors but I can't remember the specifics. I think I remember hearing quite a few ads for The CBD Store recently.

He has said alot of stupid things but because he is minority owner of 810 he has been able to get away with it. I would love for his ass to be bought out or the Chiefs drop their partnership until he is gone but I will believe it when I see it.

I heard a caller around 3:15 pm today call in taking issue with his comments from earlier. They got into a little argument about it and it sounded like KK was continuing the same line of thinking that how could Reid not know what was going on and more of the same. So if he tries to say he didn’t say something in the monologue it might be in his conversation with that caller as well.

Can someone find that conversation in the podcast and give a more accurate synopsis?
