Hammock Parties 07-24-2019 07:31 PM

I was sitting about 15 rows back.

007 07-24-2019 07:33 PM

Awesome

rtmike 07-24-2019 07:40 PM

What the heck? Cheering and clapping gets the blood flowing keeping you warm.
Those dead ****s sitting there doing nothing wouldn’t be so cold if they weren’t statues.
It used to be I got to see them up here once a year. Now it’s every 8 years so you can bet your ass I’m hoarse by the 1st quarter, lol.

RIGHT ON TwistedChief. Showin how it’s done!

Check out the dude behind them. That guy ROCKS, lol.

Rain Man 07-24-2019 07:45 PM

If one more person had yelled in that game, we would have won. It was that close.

wazu 07-24-2019 07:46 PM

Well done, Twisted! No gloves = louder.

Titty Meat 07-24-2019 07:49 PM

The defense could have had 1,000,000 more people yelling that game and still would have shit themselves.

rtmike 07-24-2019 08:36 PM

Looking at the gif again, that dude on the left looks like Todd Haley whacking his pudd, lol.

That person would need to be located on the sideline, instructing Dee Ford on where to line up.

Oh, ok. As long as he's ok.

We had a broment after the KHunt thing. He said something to the effect of "I'd be honored to hold your hand as we cheered on the Chiefs in the AFCCG." I was hoping I'd get him drunk enough to hold something else instead, but I couldn't make it out to KC because I was recovering from back surgery. Always next year.

BigRedChief 07-24-2019 11:22 PM

There are a lot of planeters going to the Jacksonville game. Maybe we should have a contest to be the first to spot a planteer on TV wins a prize.

BoxWine_Stouffers_TubeSock 07-25-2019 01:06 AM

Hmmm, I'm aware that I'm still very much a noob here but I seem to recall him lashing out at our wonderful #1 wide reciever the moment that fake news started breaking out, and subsequently leaving the forum in anger. I don't care if he's seen the error of his ways, I want punishment before he's allowed to return. That type of stupidity can't be allowed to go unchecked.

Because of the way it was reported, there were a lot of people ready to sacrifice him. Its not their fault they trusted what was being reported. It wasn't CNN, it was local news. News you SHOULD be able to trust.

Sometimes you NEED to take a break from this place. Even I had to at one time.

Maybe I guess, but personally I don't believe anything I hear from the news until it becomes a proven fact. It's a sad reality, but the "news" isn't news anymore. A lot of it is just glamorized gossip.

Sadly, you are right. These days its becoming more and more apparent that you can't trust anything reported in the news. Weather is about the only thing left you can kind of trust. LMAO

This is correct. He'll be back by start of preseason I think. Just heard from him via text last week. I was PMing with him often throughout the Tyreek saga. I had some info (basically everything the news was going to report before they actually did it) that led me to a similar belief that things were way worse than what turned out to be true.

Moral of the story, KCTV5, The Star and the majority of major media are deceitful shitbags we should all be skeptical of.

Suffice it to say that TwistedChief has gotten closer to Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce than any of us will ever be.

Ever.

You don't know all the details either...He proposed the bet and picked the terms, and I agreed. When I took the bet, I had a strong suspicion that I would win, and I told him the second I took his bet that if I won, he did NOT have to leave. He made some dickwad remark, and I just laughed him off. So, he chose to leave, knowing full well that I said he didn't have to if I won. That's how it all went down.

Well I definitely knew all the details. I saw it all go down and then disabled his account at his request over it...
Even told him you said he didn't have to honor it iirc...

He did. Which is why I took his bet. However, I don't think he was mad when he left though. He left cuz he lost a bet. I think he's back a little early though - I think the bet was until the 1st preseason game, but I can't remember. I dont care b/c I told him, when we first made the bet, that he didn't have to leave if I won. He voluntarily paid a price, even though he didn't have to.

For his own protection, we need a mod to make an autochange so that any time TwistedChief uses the word 'bet', it's changed to 'speculate'.

All correct. Just to set the record straight once here so I don’t need to address this repeatedly:

I was crushed when the Tyreek Hill news came out. Devastated. I spent that first Friday evening on here becoming an expert in the first two pages of a Missouri police report. I hoped for the best yet feared the worst a la the Kareem Hunt saga. As the days went by, I noticed three people on here from KC who seemed to have some inside insight that was incriminating. I lost hope. I set my expectations extremely low, expected him to be cut, figured our Super Bowl window may have closed the second Dee Ford inched offsides. I thought many posters here had severe home team bias and couldn’t see straight. Several flat out admitted that they’d accept him on the team even if he beat his kid because they cared only about a Super Bowl. Somehow it all turned into a strange crusade for me.

Anyway, long story short, a lot of the stuff I had been led to believe was wrong. I admit that freely. The entire time I desperately wanted to be as wrong as I am right now and it feels glorious. I don’t necessarily know if Tyreek Hill is innocent, but I surely think I wrongly over-exaggerated his potential guilt before. And if the NFL didn’t suspend him, there’s clearly more than enough reasonable doubt that I can root for him to score 20 TDs and have 1700 yds receiving and not for a second feel bad about it.

I got a little bitchy about the situation at times. A lot of it I regret; a lot of it I don’t. I’m just so ****ing excited for this season that I’ve never been more thrilled to be so publicly wrong. Sorry to any of you I annoyed or offended. My nearly three months off CP have been cathartic in a multitude of ways. Onward and upward, gentlemen.

Hammock Parties 07-25-2019 04:58 PM
