Chiefs first official depth chart is out!
1 Attachment(s)
Let’s all freak out!
~posting a pic bc I don’t want to post a tweet from Mac n Cheese |
Sorenson ahead of Thronhill will change.
|
First impressions:
-Cody Thompson is already ahead of Dieter -Lovett is listed as a TE and FB -Ragland is starting...ugh -Rookies Saunders and Thornhill have not overtaken vets yet |
Do I need new glasses? Didnt see Jones on there

And Wells is ahead of Bell and Lovett at TE. If you look at the RB position, I don't think that is the way you read it. |
Can anybody tell me why ****ing Mahomes is ahead of Henne?
|
Huh. I've been saying Charvarious wrong this whole time.
|
Kelce as the starting TE is a bold move.
|
I still don't get Erving at tackle
|
In all seriousness, kinda surprised Tyreek is PR and #2 KR. Figured Hardman would be in those roles.
|
That DL is stacked. Something’s gotta give

Henne over Mahomes!!
|
I'm one hell of a lot more interested in seeing the defense in the preseason than the offense. In fact, I don't care if the starting offense plays more than a series in the first the preseason games, and two in the 3rd and 4th preseason games.
But the D better play every snap of every preseason game like their jobs depend on it. They better play like they understand that they were #31 last year. |

Now I want to see some Thompson, Lovett and Hardman on offense, but yeah this defense to me looks light years better and DEEPER than I can remember in a long time. Except at CB. :) |
So Cody Thompson has passed Deiter and Pringle?
Nice. |
Interesting stuff here
Not sure it matters much but it’s interesting |

Some underpaid PR dude writes these, so it doesn't matter much.

Interesting! Cavon Walker pronounces his name using a soft "c" as in "civil"
I never knew that! |

I find this much easier on the eyes, and it's from a non-KC Star source

Have to wait for the games I guess. They don’t seem to be playing speaks inside much |
Kinda wonder if Odaniel is on the bubble?

Can someome remind me of who Damien Wilson is? I'm seriously drawing a blank.
|
Ogbah ain't making this team

So Andy Reid finally has his dream of an all-white OL
That racist bastard. |
Really gotta wonder when they're gonna stop ****ing around with Reggie Ragland as a starter.
Darron Lee needs to be the guy. |
Ragland has supposedly had a really good camp as the MLB
We’ll see i guess |
Ragland needs to be faster. He did pick off Brady in the AFCCG tho
|
The only thing alarming to me on that list is Tyreek is still listed as the punt returner. I would prefer that duty go to Hardman....one less chance for Tyreek to get hurt IMO.

Chiefs Depth Chart 2019
|
Kpass being the primary sub is what really stood out
|
You were scooped by almost two hours
|

And I’ve seen stuff saying he’s lining up inside too, like this for example: Quote:
|
So Reaser is 3rd team CB. Seems accurate
|
Quote:
|
Watts sure is not expected to do much it appears.
|
Quote:
|
Maybe Watts and Dieter could start in Denver or Oakland.
|
Speaks ahead of Ogbah?
|
This team really needs to bring in a quality CB.
|
Kpass moving up in the world, I wonder if he'll get a snap or two in this season?
I hope Thornhill ends up earning the starting FS spot. |

Here's a good article regarding the CB situation: https://www.salina.com/news/20190803...ern-for-chiefs |
Does this read all the way over from left to right, or down first?
IE - is Dieter after Robinson, or is Thompson after Robinson? |

What in the actual ****, Mr.. |
Mecole isn't listed as a WR?

They were lining him up inside in OTA’s during team. I know that for a fact. I’d imagine they have in camp as well. |
Quote:
But we haven't really heard much about it, which isn't ideal. IMO, they have guys that I'd rather see in there in the middle like Saunders and Ogbah that seem a bit more versatile. We'll see. |
Teicher on 810 talking about it now.

I thought Allegretti was suppose to come in as a center?
|
No offense to Hitchens, and I hope he destroys worlds, but I have hopes that Darron Lee will emerge as a major find.
Oh, and props to RunKC for not posting links to fake news sites in the OP. |
Wow. Did you guys know the official depth charts aren't even created by the coaching staff?
The PR department puts them together. LMAO |
Nick Allegretti is going to end up being one of the best late-round picks in Chiefs history. Book it.
