This is the worst injury year we've ever had, I think.

2006 was worse. Not only did Geathers' hit effectively end Green's career as a useful QB, Herm's adjustment to ride LJ into the ground ended his as well.

Not enough, it's already been proven.

We need the defense to help with that load if we want a magical playoff run.

It still amazes me that hit by Geathers did not even garner a flag. It ended Greens career for all intents and purposes but there was no flag. Meanwhile, someone looked a Brady and it was 15 yards.

With Reid as our head coach.

Nah, that's only 2 guys and that team was never talented enough to go anywhere...This team is. This is the WORST season by far for injuries.

Last year was our year and Dee Ford spoiled it.

Their QB, their excellent MLB, and arguably the best LT in football, among others.

Amazing how the Patriots can be a Superbowl contender every year even with injuries. Or their qb is suspended for 4 games and they go 3-1 in that time...with 3 different QBs. Some teams can overcome with a "next man up" mentality, but it really seems that Belicheck has them on a completely different level.

He led the team in sacks and was decent against the run. It's a big loss.

This team has never been great with Mahomes. Great offenses sure. The defense has been so bad the offense needed to be historically good to win games. Its 2003 all over again with more talent on defense.

Wonder what Belicheck could do with this team and coaching staff...

Pollard was literally not flagged for the hit that ended Brady's year in 2008. Not that he should've been -- low hits weren't illegal back then -- but JFC does it prove your comment here wrong.

Honestly, losing him bothers more than that whole game. He was our best edge rusher by a mile.

Carson Palmer rule was 2006 I believe

We hit Brady's shoulder pad and got called for roughing the passed on that last drive. Just because Brady received an injury on a legal hit, and no flag was thrown one time in his career, doesn't mean Brady isn't treated differently than other QBs.
