We'll be fine
|
Well I mean Moore and Shady only keep them out of the building lol
|
Send those two to East St. Louis and get them the hell away from the team.
|
|
Hopefully those two aren’t around the rest of the locker room.
|
Petro saw a guy get sneezed on while playing 21 in the locker room.

I heard another report about this. It's some additional information regarding what kind of illness it is, and the prognostication isn't good. It's highly contagious. The symptoms show themselves at different times for different people, and it just so happens that Moore and Shady were the first ones it claimed. Given they've been in that locker room and around the other guys every day for the past several months, it's very likely that the entire team is already infected.
In the report I read, the doctor called it SUPER BOWL FEVER. |

I didn't even think about mccoy. Did he see a snap Sunday? Was he active?

Who's going to be at the bar with Ed in des Moines?

It’s chikungunya. It’s gotta be that.

Why does CP have to find a reason to panic every week? Last week it was Jones' calf and now this. Next week it'll be something else and the week after that something else.

What is a clove garlic? I though cloves and garlic were 2 different things? |

Quote:
Cloves of garlic comes from the notion of cleaving off segments, like cloven hooves have segmented nails. Cloves themselves, the spice, is from French, . . . clou de girofle or thorn of the gilly flower. |
Gilly Gilly!

So THAT'S what Brooke "Typhoid Mary" Pryor was doing at Arrowhead yesterday.

Do these guys not get flu shots?

I've gotten the flu shot twice, and both years I ended up much sicker than all the others I've gone without. Don't know why, but it isn't for me.

I hope you feel better soon. |

The flu shot is worthless.. not very affective.. have had one for years..

Flu shots rarely match the strain of flu going around. When I had hogs I was continually exposed to different viruses (strains) so never got sick. Now that I'm retired I don't get a flu shot either. If i feel any symptom starting I immediately get on the flu bomb. Usaually 4 doses over 2 days knocks it out. At the same time with the flu bomb it helps to take megadoses of Vit C and eat a slice of onion with the flu bomb.
|
Just cut McCoy

Ive had the flu shot once. I got the chicken pox once. How are some of you so sickly? But it begs the question, if you got the flu shot and then got the flu. Is it really that effective? |
Quote:
You also can gain immunities over time to more strains. Talk to ER nurses about the flu shot. the flu still kills people, even young, healthy ones. Flu shot lessens the chance of that happening. |

But I play poker and handle chips all of the time which one would think could be a death wish. I've made a more concerted effort to not touch my face, or handles with my entire hand when I'm out in public but I've never had an issue with getting the flu. Someday something like the movie Contagion will happen and we will all bite the bullet. |
Maybe I've got the flu, but didn't even know it because I'm just simply so manly? Perhaps that is it?
|
Patrick Mahomes "flu game" :eek::eek::eek:

I didn’t get sick much until we had the kids. No kids/worked from home. Years 2 and 4 (really any year they start a New school) have been brutal. I’ve had strep 3 times this year and my doc told me I should really think about having my tonsils out. But yeah, man. Keep those hands clean. And think about the shot. |
I have had the flu once in the last 10 years....and that was 10 years ago.

Is it too late to get a flu shot?
|
Based on that 1st quarter against Houston, I think we're more than safe. Many of these guys can't catch a cold.
