Superbowl host or visitor?
 

Im assuming since both teams wear red this is a big deal. I really hate our road whites. Really want to see KC in red for he big game.

Im guessing we are visitor based on seed/reg season record.

I always thought it was the home team that decided what uniform they were gonna be in, but I've never had a real reason to pay attention.

They rotate it each year. This is the AFC's year for home team.

SF wanted to wear all white but the league turned them down. I assume because the Chiefs would have to go with all red?

The Chiefs won the AFC and are the “home” team for this game. The 49ers won the NFC and are the “road” team.

(The NFL rotates between the NFC and the AFC each year; last year’s Super Bowl had the Los Angeles Rams as the designated home team, and the New England Patriots as the road team.)
