Colin Cowherd calls the Chiefs "frightening"

Great video and he is 100% on point. The Chiefs are the boogeymen of the NFL and the rest of the league should be very terrified.

His tune will change with the shifting winds soon enough, but for now yeah... he’s spot on

lcarus 02-03-2020 03:23 PM

He's right. I mean, the Chiefs can still get better. They can still have a better offensive line, another good RB, another good WR, another good TE. And can upgrade several spots on defense as well.

And the great players we already have will just keep getting better too. Patrick Mahomes is only 24 and he's a veteran with championship experience. I mean holy shit. He's gonna shatter this league in time.

George Liquor 02-03-2020 03:24 PM

I don't blame him. We're gonna win it all next year too.

FD 02-03-2020 03:26 PM

Everyone else in the league should be terrified right now. Reid is 61 and not going anywhere, Mahomes is 24 and the youngest MVP and now Superbowl MVP in history. It is the Chiefs' league and everyone else is just playing in it.

He’s right that it’s scary for a team as talented as the Niners to have everything play out exactly how they want for 3.5 quarters and then lose by 11 points.

comochiefsfan 02-03-2020 03:42 PM

We would be going for a three peat next year if not for Dee Ford.

One of the best things about last night was the fact that we denied that asshole a ring.

Poetic justice.

Robert Saleh had an unbelievable game plan and the Niners did everything right.

They lost for the same reason the Chiefs have lost for 50 years. Their opponent had a franchise quarterback and they had a retread.

Simple as that.

Speaking of Dee Ford, what was his stat line for the game?

I think I only remember hearing his name called once all game.

I do wonder if we would’ve blown up the defense had we won it last year. We might be better in the long term for having not won it last year.

No way we would have blown it up had we reached the SB.

And frankly, there's no guarantee that Sutton wouldn't have made Goff look like Peyton Manning last year.

So true, but yeah for sure... Friscos defense lived up to its billing, they kicked the shit out of us for 3 quarters

That and they refused to call a time out before the half. And played scared when they got the lead. You've got to try to score points anytime you have the ball.

We would have won the Super Bowl last year if we JUST had Spags and not Sutton.

lcarus 02-03-2020 04:18 PM

We're gonna win it a lot over the next 15 seasons. We suffered a lot and for a long time for this. We deserve it.

tyton75 02-03-2020 04:19 PM

And that fact that we won it with all of the injuries we sustained this year. Okafor and Ogbah to name 2 major injuries, then losing Thornhill....Spags deserves a LOT of credit!

When the injuries were piling up mid-season, I just really felt that this was going to be a lost season because of them. Somehow, though, they kept plugging in players off the street or rearranging players (like Fuller to S) and some of the players got healthier and they just kept winning.

Just an amazing job by coaches and players.

Schwartz utterly dominated him.

You kidding me? We are terrorizing the NFL and making everyone hate us for the next 15 years. **** em.

LiveSteam 02-03-2020 05:23 PM

The perfect season.. I can see it happening in the 2022-23 season.
I think the biggest hurdle for KC will be replacing Eric as offensive coordinator

WRONG! :shake:

We would be stuck with Bob Sutton had we WON the Super Bowl last year.

In a perverse way, Ford helped get Bob Sutton fired and Frank Clark and Tyrann Mathieu to KC and Spags to guide our defense.

I certainly wasn't then but I am sure glad now that Ford was a dunderhead.

Rasputin 02-04-2020 12:06 AM

**** Cowturd he didn't have much nice things to say during the season and he is wishy washy on his takes he is wrong more times than not but he wants to sound like he knows what he is talking about and he has  eyebrows.

He looks angry with his stupid eyebrows.

The Chiefs are the next football dynasty that is going to dominate the league until Pat is about 45 years old.

This is what we've been waiting for.
