Raiders/Broncos Epic Fear of the Chiefs/Mahomes
Apparently no one cares enough about the Chargers to fear/feel anything, but the Raiders and Broncos are scared shitless...
From the Las Vegas Review Journal regarding the Raiders: https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports...homes-1947703/ Quote:

Mahomes is 4-0 against the Faders and already has 5 wins against the Cheating Donks.
Both teams have QB issues and average defenses. Looks like it might be another sweep year coming up in 2020! |
I'll just create a repo of these types of articles here:
It was amazing how many articles like this popped up from opposing teams websites during the playoff run. https://www.republicworld.com/sports...ssessment.html (The quotes from Haircut Davis in the above article are incredible - he calls Mahomes a monster and says countering him is the Raiders top priority). Quote:
https://theathletic.com/1550678/2020...day-challenge/ The above article is great, and talks about how countering Patrick Mahomes is quickly becoming the rival AFCW teams top priority. https://www.9news.com/article/sports...3-b548b2f72ce3 This article talks about how Drew Lock needs to develop into a great QB for the Broncos to have a realistic chance at competing with the Chiefs. It's a pretty good article - and features this section. Quote:
https://www.milehighreport.com/2020/...-filling-holes This puts the heat on Elway a bit. One wonders if Elway's status as a Denver legend has insulated him a bit from the Broncos recent struggles. Not a lot of GM's would have a stretch like this without being in the hot seat, but outside of fan forums, not a lot of the heat has been directed at Elway, that may change if the Broncos continue getting routed by KC. It has a few gems, honestly the following quote is honestly a dream come true. Quote:

Yeah, Raiders and Donks. Draft tons of Defensive players. Please.
|
Don’t bother with going to their forums. They either realize the truth and give props or are completely delusional.
There is no in-between. In other words it’s a lot like Chiefsplanet. |
No matter what the Raiders do on offense they have no hope beating us with Derrick Carr. They want to build a defense to counter Mahomes but they better not neglect the offense because Mahomes can eventually pick apart any Defense.
The Rams last year beat us 51-50 and thats where the Raiders are going to have to get to. But Good Luck. we Still have Mahomes and they dont. |
Is Patrick undefeated in the AFCW?

Raiders want Tom Brady.
|
It's like looking in a mirror of chiefs fans for the past however long. It's delusional.
Yeah, the best way to beat Mahomes is to …….go sign a running back? Really? I love it. |

Edit : 29-28 Chargers made a 2 point conversion last play of the game |

Are we really still blaming Andy Reid for stuff like this? I thought we had gotten past such nonsense. |
But Drew Lock?
|
Quote:
Andy was the one that kept Gramps far beyond his expiration date though so I can see the argument in the big picture. |
Well yeah. But also you know we have Mark Davis and Jon Gruden running our team, that’s a more pressing fear I think.
Broncos got more reason to fear Mahomes, Raiders fans are preoccupied fearing our team’s own management(please no Brady we don’t need New England’s trash). |
I don't think their "scared shitless". Mark Davis recognizes that Mahomes is a great QB in the division/league and his team needs to improve if they want to win the division anytime soon.
All other 3 teams in the division need to draft QB's to compete and one of them might get lucky and hit on a good prospect. |

Nothing about the Chargers??? Aren't they going to win the SB next year?
|
Feels good to be the team other teams hate/fear. Totally new experience

I bought my car at Manhattan Beach Toyota which became John Elway Toyota right after I bought it. Ugh. So all my free service and correspondence stuff I had to see that name. It's back to Manhattan Beach Toyota again. I guess he isn't the genius businessman everyone thought. I remember when Elway tried to open up one of his furniture stores in KC. Like any Chiefs fan would want to sit on a John Elway freaking couch. Dumbass. |

The Chargers need to be terrified of Mahomes too, bitch. |

Yeah and Derrick Henry won’t help (see AFCCG for details)

The last two days I’ve listened to Denver sports radio a bit on my way to work and pretty much the entire broadcast consists of them discussing how the Broncos can have even the faintest shot at competing with KC. They are counting on us not being able to keep key players from leaving for big money once we pay Mahomes. That’s about the best hope they have.

Lol - already predicting the Chargers could go from worst to first. Let's just ignore whose division they're in. |

Denver might have a decent QB in Lock though time will tell. Not that I'm sold but he's already done better than I thought he ever would. |
Raiders and Bolts are totally ****ed. The Donks have a small sliver of hope that Drew develops into an elite gunslinger, but fat chance he will ever get close to Mahomes' level.

A nice change of pace for those two teams. Now they can get a break from writing about how mismanaged their teams are.
|
Faiders licking them chops for Jones! We better try to keep him or tag and trade him to the NFC.

We will trade him to the NFC before we let him walk to the Faid. |

I’m in Denver for work. Multiple comments about my Mahomes/Super Bowl desktop background. They were glorious.
It’s glorious. They know how ****ed they are, even the ones who claim he isn’t that good. |
I'm not above sweet talking Von Miller away from the Broncos.

I don't think Mahomes money grubs. I think dude knows he needs his pieces and will do the Brady gig. He will make so much more outside of his contract it doesn't matter.
You don't see Matt ****ing Ryan in any commercials...do you? |
Look at how many of their pussy fans disappeared from this board

It was just complete praise and resignation. He got multiple Elway comparisons that day and a bunch of people were just in awe of how he played (even from opposing fans). Since then it’s been nothing but praise, I even got several texts and congratulations from co-workers this week. Some have a faint hope about Drew Lock developing into a solid starter, but most of them seem to be in that resigned state. The only trash talk my students could muster was that Mahomes “didn’t play that well” in the SB - to which I said, “wait which QB came back down from 10 in the Super Bowl?” But honestly, I’ve received overwhelming congratulations from my students this week, in fact. it’s been pretty amazing to see how many of my students have been sporting Chiefs gear and may have even got into the NFL following Patrick Mahomes. It is truly a new era. |
I live in Redskins country, also have experienced tons of Raiturds fans being very scared. Not just that, also Ravens fans claim they would have beaten us in the playoffs. Talk about insecurity and fear. Never met any Donkhoes fans around these parts.

Denver is doing a nice job putting pieces around Lock. Fant, Sutton and Lindsay are good. Shurmur is a good OC from Andy’s tree. It’s like they are trying to copy us.
Won’t matter though. They aren’t getting to our level. |

Because they grade so well! Touring Ryan Tannehill as a potential MVP candidate is goddamn ****ing stupid, too. |

I'm not a Lock defender nor a buyer. I originally had him in the Ryan Leaf category of bustability so to speak. He's just doing better than I thought he would, has a lot of raw ability, & is still young so it's possible he could have a good career. |
