It's going to be a weird feeling walking around with a huge smile the whole year.

I wore the same Chiefs shirt and baseball cap on Monday that I wore on Sunday during the Super Bowl party. It took everything in my power to finally take them off and change into non-Chiefs clothes.

Today is the first time in 2+ weeks that I did not wear a Chiefs shirt to work.

You tell your family to eat a bag of dicks, die in a burning aids tree, and drink a gallon of anti freeze.

Sports can no longer hurt me.

I've walked past three cars with alarms blaring since Sunday and my reaction has changed from my usual of being annoyed by the honking to assuming it is a super bowl celebration and I smile bigger and say Wooo! or Go Chiefs! I wonder how long that will last.

That, and at work yesterday during our creative review, everyone was commenting on my great mood and joking that I'd approve anything now because I'm so happy. My response was "Are you kidding? I have Championship expectations now! If anything I expect more now than ever!!!!"

It’s been very cool getting congratulations from random strangers here in Miami as I’ve been out and about with my Chiefs gear on since the Super Bowl.

Grocery store clerks, random people in line at the gas station, etc.

Been so long I’ve worked at work, 90% of the time I can’t even remember what I’m supposed to be working on.

I did the same. After the first week, people said "do you wear anything but red Chiefs' shirts?" I said yes, so I wore my black Chiefs' shirts the second week.

Not taking my window flags off until after this work week. It's going to be a sad day when I box up all my Chiefs gear for the season... Until I open the new championship gear that's coming in the next month!!!

I can only hope that Marty Schottenheimer is lucid enough to have watched it all.
