And that right there, is one of the main reasons Dee Ford wasn't coming back, even if the money had worked out. His teammates said all the PC things about him last year but you can tell the players haven't forgiven yet.

That line was pure gold. Kelce smashed that shit.

Should have cost his team but that's a liability you can't have.

The best part of Kelce's speech:

"We down 24 in 1st QTR.....pppfffffffff
We down 10 in AFCCG....pppfffffffff
We down 10 in Super Bowl.....pppppfffffff
That ain't nothing, we got Patrick Mahomes best QB in the game."

That was priceless!

I don't blame Dee Ford; on the play in question, the OL was line up way behind the line and he typically lines up a certain distance from the OL. I did notice in the SB that there were multiple plays where a SF DL was lined up offsides and it was never called.

The AFCCG last year was lost for a lot of reasons, this is simply one of them.

Glad they beat the Son of Shanarat; it helps however nothing will ever convince me that the Chiefs would not have won the SB in 97 if not for the Donks using Vaseline on their uniforms and arms.

The fact that 3 blatant lined up offside were ignored, makes it that much bigger of a joke that NE got that called. It isn't called 90 percent of the time. **** the Pats. Ford is forgiven.

Pasta Little Brioni 02-06-2020 07:46 AM

Hell the Chiefs got away with an OBVIOUS running head start in a key moment late in the game. The Patriots are literally the only team that would have ever gotten that call last year.

No... they didn't. (If you are talking about the claimed Defensive offsides)

Go find the replay. The guard had a false start.

You mean when Garropolo got pushed out of bounds from 2 yards in bounds?

And I'm pretty sure thats the same offsides play you are talking about when the Chiefs reacted to a guard false starting. So spare me the bitching.

Let's not even mention the illegal hands to Mahomes face multiple times, but most specifically on the 2nd down during the 44 yard catch drive, I think it was the play to Tyreek that got overturned or the one before it.

Meh. I'm fine with that shit not getting called. Players going for the ball and inadvertently hitting a protective helmet with barely enough force to move the facemask? It's one of the dumbest rules in the game.

Garropolo definitely took one to the face much harder than anyone hit Mahomes.

Eleazar 02-06-2020 08:48 AM

This is funny and all, but I hope we leave Dee Ford in the past now. Yes, we might have back to back Super Bowls now if it wasn't for him, it sucks. But he's just an average player who wasn't good enough to play on our defense. He should be in our rearview mirror and forgotten. Now that all the celebration is over, we should be too big time to give guys like Dee Ford another thought.

I agree. However, after Pat threw his second interception and I was sure that we were going to lose, the thought at the front of my mind was, this sucks. Dee Ford is going to get a ring instead of the Chiefs. But, fortunately, that didn't happen. So I'm good now.

Yeah, I get that this is the type of person you are, but people with a winner's mentality who are looking forward and not backward would consider that they said everything that needed to be said on the field last Sunday, and he's no one to us now.
