That was great when Mahomes got hit and fumbled and completed the guy for a good hit.

You can really tell the difference psychologically between Pat and Jimmy. Jimmy throws a pick and Kittle tries to tell him it’s okay and the guys head is down like he just blew it.

Mahomes throws 2 picks and every time someone said something to him, he was fine. He didn’t flinch for a second.

That mic’d up tells the whole story as to why the chiefs came out on top. Dude wouldn’t even respond to Kittle. He was never talking to his team in the huddle.
I really like Kittle and Warner. I’ll be rooting for those dudes when they aren’t playing the chiefs.

My thought too. Garappalo was definitely hanging his head. In fairness, though, I don't think he was mic'd up so we don't really know what he was saying in the huddle. Then again, that he didn't seem to say anything memorable maybe tells you all you need to know

Im also kind of amazed that the 49ers are such a tough team behind Shanahan. The guy talks like a quiet nerdy dude from IT.

Need to also give a shout out to some of the backups. Some mentioned cam Erving pumping his teammates up. Matt Moore was constantly by mahomes side trying to help him out.

This. I work with a bunch of Hawkeye fans and they drool over Kittle all the time. After watching this, I know why. That guy is great. Great player, great attitude. Loved how he was looking for Kelce at the end but couldn't find him. Those two will battle for the title of best TE as long as Kelce is in the league.

Man, Dirty Dan was just getting destroyed by Kittle through out this. When Kittle wasn't diving at people's knees, he was throwing Dan around.

On the 49ers' second TD, on the goalline, 49er#69 was on his knees and just grabbed the DT, preventing him from getting into the hole. Should have been a hold. But, you know, the refs wanted KC to win. :rolleyes:

I didn't realize how bad the snap on the Rose Bowl play was. Good catch by Williams. That would have been disastrous.

Might have been snapped to the side on purpose so the defense looks at Mahomes to get it. Either way, it worked out.

yeah everyone talking about crying, it took watching this last night, and I still blame it on someone who was peeling onions in the house.

Fenton's part of the end was my favorite "I think I just woke up from my dream!" and then backflips.

Had to have been thinking about how a few years ago he was working concessions there and now he's Super Bowl champ, a dream he probably never thought was possible.
