***I F*&^ing hate Eric Mangini***

More than Skip Bayless!!

at least you know Skip is playing a 'part'.

Mangini seriously believes what he says.

Even Nick Wright's head looks like it is going to explode every time EM opens his mouth.

Ammirite? :D

Titty Meat 02-08-2020 05:33 AM

We just won the super bowl who cares what a paid actor says?

Wallcrawler 02-08-2020 09:00 AM

Mangini is just pissed because while he and Cris Carter were busy sucking each others dicks talking about everyone being excited about Mahomes way too early and trying to downplay everything he was doing, he has now had to watch him literally become a legend in front of the world.

Instead of just acknowledging what has happened, he sticks to the narrative that if he was that good they wouldnt have to keep coming back from deficits, and talk shit on his first 3 1/2 quarters of the SB.

Even talking about the comeback, all he had was " well, his receivers got wide open."

He's dug his hole so deep he cant get out and us now prophesising he will bring about Doom to the Chiefs unless he emulates Tom Brady and gives a discount.

He's a tool, and I think Nick Wright inwardly enjoys giving him a platform in which to humiliate himself.

Hopefully the set crew there invested in air freshener for as much as he talks out of his ass.

KC Star posted a sarcastic tweet that basically said.........

We cant pay $40 million to Mahomes because we will be doomed if he goes down.

Also, if we pay $30 thousand to Mahomes, we will be doomed if he goes down.

scho63 02-08-2020 09:14 AM

He's a bitter Chiefs hater.

Dayze 02-08-2020 09:20 AM

Tom Brady sucked in his first super bowl. But had a great final drive.
Tom Brady sucked pipe in the AFCCG last year, until the OT drive.
And if you brought it up, he’d claim “well, it’s a team game. Tom can’t do it all”
But somehow, I bet that Toms scenario is “different”.

Elway routinely stunk up the joint until very late in games, yet he’s regarded as an all time great.

Mangini is an idiot.

Apparently Brady played great to give the Falcons a 28-3 lead.

Red Dawg 02-08-2020 10:11 AM

Pats whole thing is built on cheating. Their first 3 are bogus and Brady was carried by a defense like he is now. His best years statically when he put up bery good numbers they won nothing. When he hands the ball off and has a great defense they win. Hes not an transcendent player and Mahomes is.

jerryaldini 02-08-2020 10:25 AM

If you go back and watch the game, Pat was making plays throughout. Yeah the first INT was bad. One drive stalls because an end around blew up. Another because the OL broke down and Bosa got a strip. Another because Williams got held up and didn't see the ball.

So Pat puts up 31 instead of 45. Yeah those are lofty standards.

warpaint* 02-08-2020 10:32 AM

I haven't really watched him since he left ESPN but what I remember less than his takes necessarily is that he just wasn't very good on TV. I didn't know & am surprised he's still getting paid to babble anywhere but local radio someplace.

Wallcrawler 02-08-2020 10:33 AM

I remember Mangina always thumping the drum of "He's always ahead. How will he handle things when they arent perfect? How will he handle adversity?"

All this shit while dragging Bob Sutton and his trash ass defense, kicking and screaming to a late 4th quarter lead in the AFCCG. Throwing 50 td to 12 int, and over 5k yards in his first year as a starter.

Now he has adversity, has to overcome 24-0, and multiple 10 point deficits, and his tune now changes to "if hes so good why were they down?"

If he blows their doors off hes not impressed because he didnt have to overcome anything, and if he overcomes anything he's not impressed because he's not supposed to ever have to come from behind if hes so great.

The guy talks out of his ass every time hes on the air.

kcclone 02-08-2020 10:39 AM

The NFL pays QB's. The NFL even pays bad QB's. We have the best QB in the league. We need to pay him.

And Mangina is irrelevant.

I refuse to watch any show that has an idiot contrarian troll like Mangini or Bayless. Life's too short to get sucked into that.

Agreed. I thought Pat was pretty good from start to finish. We only had what...5 possessions up until the comeback? The first INT was a bad read but it was 3rd and long and we were around midfield so it didn't kill them. The second one was partly his fault, partly Tyreek's fault, and partly bad luck.

But in the end it doesn't matter if he actually did suck that whole game until the comeback because...they came back and won. The Super Bowl. Against a defense everyone hyped up like they were the 85 Bears.

I like Nick Wrights takes, It helps that hes a Chiefs fan, and its pretty funny watching him own Mangini, Carter, or whichever guest they have at the time if they start talking shit.

He put it bluntly to Mangini. Paraphrased:

The superbowl was by far the worst game of Patrick Mahomes' career. And yet, he still won the superbowl by 11 points after being down 10 with just over 6 minutes left, and dropped 31 on the best defense in the game.

Passer rating in the 4th quarter, 131. Garoppolo passer rating of THREE.

I'm just waiting for the "Lamar Jackson was unanimous mvp, so let not get carried away with this best player in football stuff just yet." That Mangini is sure to break out next season.

The only reason Patrick Mahomes was not unanimous MVP is that any of the voters that voted Brees forgot that the MVP is not a ****ing lifetime achievement award. Sympathy votes for 40 year old who never won it are the reason it wasnt unanimous, and its a ****ing crime.

Mahomes was over a thousand yards more passing than Brees, with 18 more touchdowns. Had the 1 seed, while dragging Bob Sutton's stupid ass
dead last defense kicking and screaming all the way, while losing a stud RB in Kareem Hunt during the year. All the pressure was on Pat after Kareem ****ed us over, and it still didnt matter.

Mahomes was the runaway MVP that season and it wasn't even ****ing close.

JohnnyHammersticks 02-08-2020 12:01 PM

In my remaining time on earth, I have a better chance of being hit by a meteor than of ever listening to Skip Bayless or Eric Mangini. But that's just me.

Mahomes said it as well when they asked him if he's the face of the league. It's not an unfair point. There are a lot of great players in the league.

chinaski 02-08-2020 12:59 PM

Mangini is about as relevant as the dump I took this morning. The stench kind of lingers, but ultimately it was flushed down the toilet.

Yeah, theyre great players. But Mahomes is the best player in football and it isnt close.

Mahomes is gracious in victory, and not arrogant. So he shouts out Lamar but lets be honest here.

You're down 14 points. Who do you want leading your guys?

Here's a hint. It aint Lamar Jackson.

I think Russell Wilson is right there with Patrick. Those two guys have repeatedly shown a lot of clutch factor, and neither of them are old geezers like Brady/Brees.

Lamar needs to step up in the playoffs for sure. Same statement applies to Deshaun Watson as well. Even in Patrick's 1 playoff loss, he dragged his team back from 14-0 and made it to overtime against Belichick/Brady.

Russ is absolutely legit. Hes a reeruned head coach with an axe to grind against their RB away from being a back to back champion.

I get that what Lamar did, no qb has done, but thats because Lamar is a running back that throws about 20 halfback passes a game.

It was clear as day in their divisional playoff, he has a long way to go to be able to carry his team with his arm.

Get up 2 scores on him and he cant answer.

He will go on the Madden cover and the curse will break him.

It can't be said any better than this.

Mahomes also says what you'd want him to say in that position but if someone takes that at face value I have a unique business opportunity for you...

Mangina can cry all he wants- the fact is, we ended the year with 9 straight wins and are the World Champions.

It does not matter what we had to overcome or how we did it- it is the end result.

Wallcrawler 02-08-2020 03:47 PM

The irritating thing about Mangini during the playoffs was he acted like it was the plan to get down 24, and 10 points.

"I dont think that gameplan is gonna work against the Titans".

Then acts as if Mahomes is the guy to blame for the deficits. "If he played better, they wouldnt be down"

As if Mahomes bit on the screen fake and gave up a bomb TD. Mahomes dropped the ball on 3rd down multiple times. Mahomes missed the block on the punt causing a block TD. Mahomes muffed the punt at the 5.

Mahomes would never say this because he isnt a bitch, but as Elvis Grbac once said, "I can't throw it and catch it too."

Mahomes didnt even get worked up or mad. He was cold as an assassin in that game. Never points fingers, or makes excuses.

Just proceeded to lead 8 straight scoring drives, 7 of them TDs. But no mention was made about that by Mangina.
