bye

wachashi 02-10-2020 11:59 AM

Curious to see what he gets paid.

staylor26 02-10-2020 12:02 PM

Give him a contract worthy of a comp pick and I’ll consider it a win

BWillie 02-10-2020 12:04 PM

Gehrig Deiter is the leagues next little white sniveling piece of shit 1,000 yard receiver. He can be our Eidelman, Hogan, Amendola, Welker.

It's going to be glorious.

scho63 02-10-2020 12:07 PM

Gonna be interesting to see if we can find a bigger, stronger WR like Watkins. I always thought Robinson could take his place but I don't think he is the guy.

I trust Veach and Andy to make things happen.

CaliforniaChief 02-10-2020 12:09 PM

Robinson played such a small role as the season went on, that I can't imagine us bringing him back. He'll get paid because of who he played for, but probably not by us.

Deebo Samuel was found in round 2 (along with a ton of other good WRs).

DRM08 02-10-2020 12:09 PM

Don’t they have drop problems in Philly?

Kiimo 02-10-2020 12:09 PM

Albert Wilson II

Halfcan 02-10-2020 12:10 PM

He drops too many passes- bye.

Deberg_1990 02-10-2020 12:11 PM

He’s a spare part. Goodbye

JohnnyHammersticks 02-10-2020 12:11 PM

Good for him. Can't blame him, he needs to strike while the iron is hot.

Easily replaced.

Frosty 02-10-2020 12:11 PM

DRob had the chance to step up with Hill and/or Watkins out earlier in the season and didn't do it. In the stretch over the Indy and Houston games where they really needed him, he had three receptions on 10 targets for a whopping 31 yards. He had very few targets during the playoffs (with some egregious drops) and zero targets in the Super Bowl despite Hardman being limited.

I had high hopes for him coming into this season and he seems like a good locker room guy but he is very replaceable.

Holy Crap look at the Round 2 receivers from last year:

Deebo Samuel (SF)
AJ Brown (TEN)
Hardman (Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs)
Arcega-Whiteside (PHI)
Parris Campbell (IND)
Andy Isabella (ARI)
DK Metcalf (SEA)

comochiefsfan 02-10-2020 12:17 PM

Thought he was gonna be a breakout star after seeing him up close and personal at training camp.

Thought i was going to be proven right after the Raiders game in week 2. And then he pretty much vanished the rest of the season.

He’s really physically gifted. Something’s just missing there that I don’t think he’s ever gonna find. Absolutely time to let him walk and shoot our shot with another young receiver.

Deberg_1990 02-10-2020 12:18 PM

Pringle should get a few more opportunities

ChiTown 02-10-2020 12:18 PM

Breshad Perriman (Tampa UFA) is the guy I'd take a peek at, especially if Sammy doesn't come back. I think he could flourish in this O. He had a nice little coming out party last season (finally).

He will. Dude is ready.

The post-Mahomes dropoff for every player that leaves will be fascinating to watch.

Albert Wilson says hi!

Dallas Chief 02-10-2020 12:42 PM

Will Marcus Kemp be back next year? Felt like he was ascending and had a shot at a roster spot.

I don't think they'll want to pay any WR FAs who have already had their "coming out" season.

Kiimo 02-10-2020 12:52 PM

I like Perriman but I agree. We overpaid for Sammy and now we're gonna use the draft to get receivers because any free agent is also going to want to be overpaid.

Agree. And why wouldn't TB who has plenty of cap space just keep him?

Robby Anderson would be a better target.

gblowfish 02-10-2020 12:54 PM

He had a beautiful TD catch against Oakland and against Baltimore, but he also has a case of the dropsies and alligator arms across the middle. Comparison to Albert Wilson is pretty accurate. If he goes FA to Philly, shouldn't be that tough to find a young guy to replace him. Who wouldn't want to play with PMII right now?

I'd also give more reps to Pringle. He's a pretty good target.

Kiimo 02-10-2020 12:54 PM

I also wonder how much Godwin helped Perriman get open.

LMAO

He might literally be saying "hi" here in a few months.

Halfcan 02-10-2020 01:28 PM

Fortson can fill in for DRobb and be a bigger target in the Red Zone.

Spott 02-10-2020 01:38 PM

Shouldn’t be too hard to replace him if he leaves. I would imagine that a lot of WR’s will want to play here with this offense.

Dunerdr 02-10-2020 01:38 PM

byron pringle at 6'1" is gonna be sammys replacement and reek and mecole will rotate around as match ups dictate. So who becomes our 4th guy kemp? Dieter? new guy needing revival?

Hammock Parties 02-10-2020 01:39 PM

Gherig Dieter will shine.

nychief 02-10-2020 01:41 PM

Via con dios. Thanks, DR.

Next Man up.

pugsnotdrugs19 02-10-2020 01:41 PM

With D-Rob it seemed like his focus way on a per target basis... those games when he was heavily involved, he looked good. Otherwise, it was 50/50 whether he’d catch the ball if it was thrown at him.

Streaky guy. Hope he gets paid well, cause it won’t be from KC.

notorious 02-10-2020 01:56 PM

Damnit Robinson, you are my guy!

Those drops against Houston, though. JFC

Az_Chiefsfan 02-10-2020 02:06 PM

Pretty good blocker and learned where he needed to be when Patrick started moving outside the pocket. But not worth paying with all the other fish to fry this off-season.
