Meh

RealSNR 03-25-2020 09:02 AM

Man, I knew Dak hadn't signed his extension yet, but I didn't know things were getting THAT bad!

old_geezer 03-25-2020 09:03 AM

Addition by subtraction.

Mecca 03-25-2020 09:03 AM

I'm assuming John Lovett will take one of the spots but a backup TE should not be hard to find.

MahiMike 03-25-2020 09:09 AM

Man, these teams are taking even our 2nd and 3rd stringers now. Veach is da man.

big nasty kcnut 03-25-2020 09:12 AM

Thank god i hated him so much!

carcosa 03-25-2020 09:18 AM

DEATH TO THE TRAITOR!!!!!!!!!

Deberg_1990 03-25-2020 09:18 AM

How will we replace his 8 catches for 67 yards?

Rain Man 03-25-2020 09:29 AM

We'll rebuild the losses to maintain the dynasty. I'm confident.

ToxSocks 03-25-2020 09:32 AM

Excellent. That means we have an upgrade coming.

JohnnyHammersticks 03-25-2020 09:42 AM

I'm never gonna hate on anybody who was on the team that brought us a SB win. Good luck to Blake, hope he plays well for the Cowboys.

KChiefs1 03-25-2020 09:44 AM

Season is over.

Danguardace 03-25-2020 09:46 AM

VAGOMO 4 LIFE! 03-25-2020 09:48 AM

Kman34 03-25-2020 09:51 AM

Oh no! Lake Bell is gone.. And I didn’t know Witten went to the Raiders.... Is he on the Raider broadcast crew??

Demonpenz 03-25-2020 09:52 AM

I always thought we were going to run some wildcat with him because of what he did in college, but we ran the wildcat with kelce because kelce is just better at everything

Alize Mack is also a name to look out for. He was signed to a futures contract. Sounds like the Chiefs staff likes him.

smithandrew051 03-25-2020 10:20 AM

Late pick on Thaddeus Moss

Barf.

No offense.

lcarus 03-25-2020 10:26 AM

I was kind of hoping we would get Demetrius Harris back. He made some nice plays for us over the years. Seems like defenses would sometimes "forget" about him and he'd be wide open. He just needs some pine tar on his hands.

Moss is actually a good prospect a 3rd rounder on talent but he broke his foot again which will drop him, so if you can be patient you'd get a good talent lower than expected.

tatorhog 03-25-2020 10:46 AM

Wasn't Bell the dude that Kelce tweeted out his cell number saying to wish someone happy birthday?

Maybe this means Delanie Walker could become our new #2?

I don't get what's tough about it. A Super Bowl champion wants you back. You take that deal.

I doubt the Cowboys are giving him dream money that he wouldn't have been earning with the Chiefs.

Maybe he has a chance to win a starting job in Dallas, or actually be used. That aint happening here.

I'd say making the 2020 roster probably wasn't a foregone conclusion in KC. In Dallas it might be.

Wilson8 03-25-2020 11:34 AM

Good Luck to Blake Bell with the Cowboys.

He made some good blocks and caught a few passes for Kansas City in a wonderful Super Bowl winning season for the Chiefs.

Current TEs for KC, Travis Kelce, Deon Yelder, and Nick Keiser. John Lovett is listed at 225 pounds and as a FB.

JakeF 03-25-2020 11:37 AM

Bell was just starting to improve. :(

Now we just have to hope that Yeldon takes a couple of steps before that season starts.

Bell was a better blocker.

I thought so too, but I no longer see him on the Chiefs roster at chiefs.com. I thought maybe they just didn't show players that signed futures deals, but other players with future contracts are on there.

saphojunkie 03-25-2020 11:50 AM

1. He has a ring. It would be fun to play in Dallas.
2. If they offered him 200k more, that's enough money to go. He's not making millions, so actually a little extra means a LOT.
3. Playing for a different staff gives him new relationships. The more people you know, the better your chances of picking up somewhere else next year. Staying in KC means you only know that staff, and they aren't going anywhere.

Mecca 03-25-2020 12:05 PM

Supposedly the Chiefs have interest in Delanie Walker he may be interested in being a role player to try to win one at the end of his career.

The contract should be designed to pay him per game played. He’s a great pass catching option, but he’s very broken.

Halfcan 03-25-2020 12:28 PM

Hopefully, we get a comp pick in return.

This. At this stage of his career it's all about getting playing time, I imagine. Already has a ring, probably wants to see as many snaps as possible. Though I saw they extended Blake Jarwin.

Anyway good luck to all the players from the Super Bowl LIV roster!

Accept on FG's at TN...:spock:

RINGLEADER 03-25-2020 03:17 PM

I forgot he even played for the Chiefs...

BigChiefFan 03-25-2020 05:11 PM

This is a decent draft for TE talent. I think we’ll find an improvement either through the draft or undrafted players. Bell played decent for us and could be an ascending player, but we can’t keep them all.

Simply Red 03-25-2020 05:18 PM
