Who will 100% *Not* be on the board at #32?
Curious how many (and which) players we are 100% sure will not be available when we pick?
Are we talking about a pool of 10 guys? 20 guys? Veach said yesterday during his presser that there are "4 QB's and 4 Premium Tackles, so you can expect a lot of curveballs." So who will be gone-gone, and who does that leave us to choose from, should they fall? |
Okudah gone. Becton gone. All the QBs. Chase young gone

Queen.

Guys I expect to be picked before the Chiefs:
Burrow Tua Herbert Love Becton Wirfs Wills Thomas Jones Simmons Okudah Murray Queen Chaisson Henderson Brown Kinlaw Young Lamb Jeudy Ruggs Jefferson Mims Epenesa Gross-Matos That’s 25 guys. After that it’s anybody’s guess. |
My call?
The Chiefs. The Chiefs will not be picking at #32. |
QB:
Burrow Tagovailoa Herbert Love OL: Wirfs Wills Thomas Becton Ruiz EDGE: Young Chaisson Yetur Gross-Matos CB: Okudah Henderson Fulton DL: Brown Kinlaw WR: Lamb Jeudy Ruggs Jefferson LB: Simmons Queen Murray |

The 49ers and Seahawks for sure are looking to trade down if possible. Everybody can scream trade down all they want, but it takes two to tango and it might not be easy to find a trade partner if there are a few trades in front of us. |
I think Joe Burrow will be drafted within the first 7 rounds

There will be the QB's, because we have Mahomes and he's 24, and they all know they're ****ed for a generation if they don't find an answer. And the CB's, and the WR's. Some OT's that are really good. The WR's. If you don't have a legit star QB you'd better get yourself one. We'll come out okay. |

I don’t see anybody trading up for a QB unless Love falls, and he’s not making it to 32. |
Best part about drafting late is watching teams **** up making awful reaches. Based on recent history, we can expect Seattle to be that team.

Speaking of Becton
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Multiple players had drug tests flagged at the NFL Combine & among those is projected top 10 pick <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Louisville?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Louisville</a> OT Mekhi Becton, I’m told. Teams were made aware of this. Becton had no failed drug tests in college. Per new CBA rules, he goes into Stage 1 for no more than 60 days.</p>— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) <a href="https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1251315257097596928?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 18, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
Guys I'd say "absolutely not"
QB Burrow QB Herbert QB Love OT Wirfs OT Wills OT Thomas LB Simmons LB Queen CB Okudah CB Henderson DT Brown DE Young ER Chaisson WR Lamb WR J. Jefferson WR Ruggs Guys with some concerns but I can't see being there based on talent: DT Kinlaw - Are his knees a real issue?, I have him at 8 to ARZ QB Tua - 13 Wonderlic and Injury concerns, I have him to NE at 23 OT Becton - Positive drug tests at the combine are never a good thing so I dropped him to 29 to TEN WR Jeudy - 9 Wonderlic but insane talent creates a conundrum, I have him to PHI at 21 CB Johnson - Are shoulder injuries that big of a concern? I have him to LVR at 19 Other guys I fully expect will be gone: OT Jones - Is he a tackle? That's the big question. I'm more yes than no. I have him at 20 to JAX. CB Terrell - I think he's higher on boards than many think, I have him at 17 to DAL. CB Diggs - Not alot of good press corners in this draft, I have him at 22 to MIN. LB Baun - He fits 3-4 teams well at either OLB or ILB and teams like SEA (where I have him going) that use a wide end/leo. I think he's gone. WR Mims - Athleticism and catch radius get you drafted early, I have him at 25 to MIN LB Murray - He's not good in coverage for all that athleticism and he can't take on blocks, but I think some team takes a shot,, I have him to NO at 24 |

Jeudy will be the first WR off the board
|
If there is some talent at WR left at #32, we may get lucky and be able to trade down for more picks

Now a guy like Shenault that's a box of rocks and doesn't have any athleticism and struggles against press, yeah that guy is dropping like a rock. I don't think he goes day 2 at this point. |
You know who WON'T be there at #32..............

Chaisson is a guy that I don't think is a must be gone type. He is a finesse player, Dee Ford style pass-rusher and that isn't a must have for a lot of NFL teams. If you already have tons of pressure it's nice to have Chaisson run around the edge but it's not super high impact. |

I think just as equally an important questions would be "who will 'still' be there on the board" and 'why' ??
