GRONK Traded

to the Bucs, with a seventh round pick, in exchange for a 4th round pick.. Pending physical.

58-4ever 04-21-2020 02:27 PM

I know this was reported in the other thread... suck my balls.

Dartgod 04-21-2020 02:31 PM

ChiliConCarnage 04-21-2020 02:31 PM

I'd feel good about that as a Pats fan. Got something for nothing in a way

The bucks already had two TEs though or did Brate or Howard get moved?

dj56dt58 04-21-2020 02:31 PM

Tampa really wants to be the team that loses to kc in the super bowl

ForeverIowan 04-21-2020 02:32 PM

Edelman up next in 3...2...1...Bucs will mortgage the crap out of their future and make a couple more splashes you better believe that. They will get Brady another superstar.

dj56dt58 04-21-2020 02:32 PM

They'll recoup that pick when they move Howard probably, if you're Tampa you appease Brady, you made the move for a reason.

We’re really gonna get Brady pinning Gronk for the 24/7 championship aren’t we

Monticore 04-21-2020 02:36 PM

Arians could not figure out how to incorporate 1 TE in his offense now he has to deal with 2. (unless they trade OJ)

Actually they have 3 now because Cameron Brate is very good and is why OJ Howard doesn't play...

This is far and away the best set of weapons Brady has had though.....Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Gronk, Brate maybe Howard.........they literally are a solid RB away from being a damn fine offense.

Brady has his 2 TE look again but with a couple of really good outside WR's.

ForeverIowan 04-21-2020 02:37 PM

Surprised they haven't pulled the trigger on Fournette. Talk about a franchise that is all in for the next two years.

Not yet, I wonder what kind of situation this creates in that room when Tampa's TE's have been dreaming of catching TD passes from Brady in the playoffs...

smithandrew051 04-21-2020 02:58 PM

They’ll be the 2021 version of the 2020 Browns. This won’t end with a Super Bowl. Might not even lead to a playoff berth.

That's what it is. Gronk will last maybe part of the season and will call it quits at 2-5.

RunKC 04-21-2020 03:00 PM

Saints are just way overrated man. Brees has really hurt his reputation the last few years choking to Jared Goff, Case Keenum and Kirk Cousins. I mean shit man...how do you choke against those losers with that talented of a team and that good of a coach?

Not sure if TB will win that division but I’d place wagers on them going further than the Saints.

They're going to have the best receiving corps in the league that congregates between 5 and 10 yards downfield.

Bruce Arians has already said he’s not a fit and it won’t happen.

Increases the chances that Mahomes gets to beat Brady in a playoff game and end his career for good, so I’m OK with this.

Arians hates Howard. He got benched for long stretches multiple times in games last season. He won’t be in Tampa when the season kicks off. Bucs will probably try to recoup their 4th for him.

Valiant 04-21-2020 03:57 PM

Calling it now. He will be busted for roids. Dude dropped tons of muscle mass. If he gains it back, he is done.
Bill will call the league himself probably.
Then laugh at the free pick.

They are already getting more national coverage today then the Chiefs have got all off-season. Barely a word on NFLN, ESPN, or FS1 on Jones or Mahomes possible deals, yet they won't shut the **** up about Dak (Cowboys) Brady (Pats - now - Buc's.) Even some on the 9er's, but hardly a word spoken about KC since they won the Super Bowl.

If Gronk can stay healthy, the Bucs could be a force in the NFC. Whether they can win in the playoffs is another thing.

This can't be real. But for fun . . .

If Tony has anything left in terms of burst, he'd be a great add. And he'd have the advantage of being singled up on every snap, since Kelce would be getting the doubles/brackets.

The real question would be can he still take a real NFL hit.
