Long term?
None. At least for living daily lives. We are a resilient species. |

We will start using the 3 sea shells.

More working from home. Which means businesses need less office space.
I would love to say more appreciation for teachers-but that is not going to happen. More people that learn to cut their own hair. I am not sure I am going back to the barber again. It stinks for him, but my wife did well. Hopefully some families learn to be families. Again-pipe dream. |

Empty stadiums will be the norm for a long time. Fan attendance was on the decline before COVID

I will stop eating raisins, corned beef and cabbage and egg salad every day

Businesses are going to be super cool with everyone working from home while they're on an x year lease for the building they can't get out of or even worse own it outright, all while paying for your expensed home office so you don't sue them for carpal tunnel.

How do they reimburse for home internet use. I will tell you the school will not be doing that for me. |

My company, based in CA, hard vets work from home. Has to be ergonomic, low distraction, etc. They'll even tour your place before signing off. It's not like companies don't have years of research on working from home already. Also, if everyone's remote, why do I need to hire residents for my company in Ditka, IL when I can just hire from any specialized workforce saturations across the nation? There's a lot more that goes into it I'm sure. |
Companies that were doing some work from home stuff or at least considering it will be more likely to implement such measures, especially when talking infrastructure expansion.
Strides will be made with telehealth. Possible strides with online learning (thinking high school mostly, since there's already a lot of college/adult ed stuff out there). Oh, and something crazy knee-jerk..... uh, we cancelled concerts for a month, so no more live music! |

I just can't see how you can play football unless it's.......ok it's Sept 1st and we haven't had a case in a month. Unless that is the situation, no football.
If it's Oct, Nov and no new cases, an NFL season of 8/10 games, something that works. All it will take is one player to come down with it and no football at all. |

I just can't see how that many people that makes up an NFL season can stay virus free. Who will be going to the games to sit next to strangers? The experience would just be too big a hassle. |
People are going to be a lot more cautious about surrendering any of their liberties.
This shit isn't gonna fly again. They try to shut down businesses, people are going to give the government the finger and just remain open. |

Dont count on much.. When my employer closed our KC office we let one office professional go outright, one was given opportunity to relocate to HQ, One manager, one researcher and a Public Affairs guy all moved to home. CoPay for new phone lines and paid for service on those lines Set up as needed Fax, We all had computers and moved them with, and we had a $400 allowance for office set up. We were given first shot at buying our office furniture at a cheap price but far from free I was lead manager and designated Office Manager and pretty much led the process company wide and helped make it a national implementation with 26 offices and over 150 people involved Huge savings in office rent was first win. Second was we discovered a few Managers were incapable of doing the job with out an office staff to cover them...we demoted them. Total cost of sale dropped but sales did not, in fact we saw some increases where incompetent managers were replaced by better people. Anyone who thinks the Home office folks will reward you for your home office is nuts..... I loved the move but had some peers who were way upset because they were so into "going to the office" and all that bullshit There are excellent systems in place and available today that were not when we did it.. |

It's common sense. This is as impossible to get as any past flu. Youre promoting a population of people losing touch with human interaction, communication, community, compassion. A bunch of third grade tattle-tells, who look at you like a murderer if you sneeze lol |
