Erm...Thornhill could be anything coming off a major injury. There is potentially a gap to be filled |
Thornhill is better than he is at this point. Y’all really think he’s coming here to be a package safety?

How do you know is Thornhill better? He’s just had a terrible injury |
Is Simply Red still friends with him on FB???

It will be interesting to see if KC pursues him.
They have tried on 2 separate occasions to acquire him. Pretty good chance they will be interested, especially at what will obviously be a very discounted price. |
Is he an upgrade over Sorensen at this point? Because even if we did consider it, that's the spot he'd be looking at taking. I'm leaning no. Five years ago, absolutely, but not today.

No thanks

Maybe the Patriots and he'll flame out there in a week.
|
**** signing this dumbass.
|
It'd be pretty funny if he actually won the inevitable arbitration and ****ed the Ravens cap for years.
|
Jerry Jones saw this news and still needed to pop some Viagra to get a hard on.
|
If we could sign him for 1 year (no money guaranteed) I would give it a shot. If he causes any trouble drop him immediately. Like many here I'm pretty sure he'll end up in Dallas.
|
So do the Ravens now sign Clowney with the money they clawed back from Earl?
|
Sign him and put him on the practice squad.
Just to piss him off. |
If he can’t fit in in Baltimore, he probably wouldn’t here either.
|
His own teammates asked for him to be released
That says enough |
Quote:
God ,that was fun to say! |
Quote:
Well then he shouldn't head to Dallas |
Pass.
|
Dude punched a teammate.
No thanks. |
Once a chode, always a chode.
|
This guy had a devil's three way with his brother. He's a ****ing lunatic.
No thanks. |
Didn't 2/3rds of NE defense opt out? He'll be a Patriot in no time.
|
The Raiders should have a go at him.
Just imagine the repercussions of Thomas living in Las Vegas full time. |
Quote:
I still laugh about that from time to time. |
Let him go to Dallas
|
He’s the epitome of an entitled person...but he’s also a big game player.
|
Sammy is married, I believe

We don’t even need him. Thornhill looks like he could be ready to go week 1.
|
I only said that if he comes in in a vet minimum. A prove yourself deal.

Just spent the last few minutes listening to the NFL Network talk about him and his history......Piss off Earl, we don't need you in our locker room.
|
It wasn't exactly a secret the last 24 hours what was about to happen. That's why Dallas cleared the cap space. Unless another team swoops in with big money like the Ravens last year, he's headed to Dallas
|
The feel-good headline here is seeing our #1 conference rival experience chaos right before the season begins. Thomas isn't what he once was, but they have tied up a lot of cash in the guy and thought they had that whole Safety situation under control. If this were a Baltimore board we'd be in full meltdown right now.

Their safeties are very meh at this point. |
Not a good teammate. Ergo, not a Kansas City Chiefs.

It's Lamar's turn dealing with The Madden Curse |

Plus the whole you have to cut them then sign them to the practice squad thing. |
He's going to Dallas and apparently his attitude sucks. No thanks

only gay if the balls touch

Last season, 27 of his 36 passing TDs came against non playoff teams. He only threw for over 250 yards 3 times, and those were in the first 3 weeks of the season. I think it’s still absolutely fair to question his staying power in the league due to his struggles as a passer. |

Not sure we need the headache, but if Veach wants to take a crack at him that's fine.
We tend to love playing a shit ton of safeties anyway. |

If he can't respect the Ravens defense he sure as **** won't respect ours.

This is hilarious.

Ravens practicing at stadium: no sign of Lamar Jackson. Would be his second straight missed practice if he doesn’t come out at some point. Lamar won’t make it another 3 years playing the way he does, let alone 10. |
Quote:
Tired arm, that's a different language to Mahomes |
Even if the Ravens win the grievance he's still counting for 5 million this year and 10 million next year. God Damn. 15 million this year if they lose the grievance.

Mathieu and Clark will not put up with Earl Thomas bullshit. That being said: this is a guy who flipped off his own sideline then went to another franchise whose own players ran him out. Wherever he goes, he’s going to explode. And no level of defensive leadership can rope that in. |

Shit guys, CEH would probably have a sore arm too if we asked him to throw 10 passes every practice.
|
Obviously the Dallas connection makes sense but remember the Chiefs were on the verge of signing Thomas last offseason before Baltimore swooped in. The Cowboys have had their chances and haven’t pulled the trigger. Meanwhile the Chiefs have twice been in the cusp of acquiring him so they obviously really wanted him at one point.
KC has been hyper aggressive in trying to set up a chance at repeating. They had a plan to team up Mathieu with Thomas last year. Maybe that’s something they’d still like to do. Should be interesting, the guy is obviously a head case though. |
We signed this POS yet?

We tried to sign him last year and he was basically a Chief til Mosley decided to sign with the Jets clearing up cap for the Ravens.
I'd sign him if he were still as good as he used to be. Problem is he looked like a guy who lost a step last year. |
Quote:
The Chiefs don't need the lockerroom drama that Earl Thomas would bring. |
I trust whatever Veach does.
If we sign him, I trust that we did our homework. If we don’t, I trust we made the right call. |
Have the Cowboys signed this piece of shit yet?
