Hard Rock Stadium [Approved] to Go Full Capacity [But Dolphins still limiting fans]

Hard Rock Stadium cleared for full capacity. This should be the norm not the exception. https://www.outkick.com/florida-gove...00-attendance/

Titty Meat 10-07-2020 01:24 PM

That should end well

Chris Meck 10-07-2020 01:25 PM

That's wildly stupid.

suzzer99 10-07-2020 01:25 PM

Lol full capacity. When was the last time it sold out (not counting the Superbowl)?

backinblack 10-07-2020 01:27 PM

Dolphins have quickly clarified they will not be opening the stadium to full capacity

Anybody that read the original article already knew this. ;)

The Dolphins, according to Slater, say their plan is to stick to a 13,000 attendance capacity for their next home game against the Chargers on October 25.

Hard Rock averages 11,722 through two home games for the Dolphins. The Dallas Cowboys lead the NFL in attendance with an average of 23,364 through two games.

To be clear:

The Florida governor lifted stadium restrictions. Hard Rock CAN go to full capacity any time they want.

The Dolphins currently have NO PLANS to go to full capacity.

Yeah, the Dolphins aren't insanely stupid, which is what it would take to fill the stadium to capacity.

cosmo20002 10-07-2020 01:39 PM

So has Dallas had any issues from their league leading attendance?

Kind of funny but people miss that Missouri dropped all restrictions as a state back in July, they are all municipal restrictions.

No reason at all to not have a third to half capacity at outdoor stadiums

O.city 10-07-2020 02:45 PM

I’d guess they’re trying to get it geared for full super bowl attendance etc

For the Super Bowl in Tampa this year.

This applies to Tampa and Jacksonville’s stadiums as well.

Arrowhead South had 2365 group tickets purchased. They canceled group tickets and started refunding money. No way is there a desire within the group to go to a full stadium. The governor................... :doh!:

Again, this is not big news, Missouri opened completely with no state restrictions back in July, there are still county and city municipal ordinances though. Florida municipalities can decide how they want to handle it in their local communities as well.

Arrowhead South and all 13 chapters down here in Florida have spoken loudly too. We are getting 10% of our normal crowds. Its all because of the fear of getting covid in large groups.

The municipalities can say we are good to go to a filled up stadium but the vast majority of our group want no part of a filled stadium even if it is to watch the Chiefs. And that ****ing sucks.

Why? All the governor is doing is lifting restrictions and leaving decisions up to the people and each entity. I thought that was called liberty, not stupidity. Some feel more secure in a "mother may I" state I guess.
