If Bieniemy and Kafka both get HC jobs, would you bring back Pederson as OC?

I think Kafka will be OC next year, but the Mahomes effect is real.

3 years removed from SB win, first Philly SB evar. 42-37 HC record and most of those losses in weird covid season, and then gets canned because of one maybe bad decision in a meaningless game. Joke Eagles.

Id take him as the OC again if EB left why not?

I actually agree with him.

I think EB is largely a figurehead. Andy Reid is the real brains.

EDIT: Kafka was a QB at Northwestern. EB was a running back at CU. I'd take Kafka over EB 10 times out of 10.

I agreed with him too - that's why I asked if someone had given him smart pills this morning. I feel it's very accurate, and I think other people in the league do, too. That combined with EB's lack of interview savvy are what's keeping him from getting a HC job. Everyone knows that EB and Kafka are 1a and 1b to Reid's King Salami and both have approx the same amount of input.

Good hire by Philly. Dorsey might not be great at getting along with everyone as a GM, but he has a good eye for talent.

Mark Brunell
Matt Hasselbeck (eh?)
Favre
Rodgers
Mahomes
Mayfield

I can't think of another GM that has that much QB talent to his resume.

Honestly, i don't give a crap if we lose EB. I would much rather have the 3rd round draft pick.

He's supposedly in charge of the running game but our running game has been crappy. It's been predictable and sloppy. I don't even know if EB is calling the plays since Andy is always talking in the headset at the same time.

Kafka is another story altogether. I wonder if he is on the correct timeline to take Andy's place in the future. I hope the Chiefs protect him.

I think we lose both :shake:

If Pederson is still available after the smoke clears I would hope we'd snap him up.

From what I remember about Pederson's departure, I'm not sure he'd be welcomed back at One Arrowhead Drive.

This has to be due to the Wentz deal and some players going against Doug for the way he's handled things. I bet he lost the locker room.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't. Iggles are making a emotional decision here. Everyone is pissed about that last game. Philly was destroyed by injuries this year. They were last year as well and still made the playoffs. If there's anyone that needs firing its whoever the S+C head is. Pederson isn't the best but he deserved one more year.

Doug Pederson wouldn't have made the decision to play Nate Sudfeld all by himself. That would have been an organizational decision.

Pederson tired of being told what to do = Pederson tired of taking shit for the GM's order to pull Hurts so they tank the last game and pick up 3 draft spots and screw the Giants.

Neither did the local KC sports radio jocks this morning.

I think people need to realize that for any number of reasons, nobody wants EB.

Right or wrong It must be because they attribute the majority of his success to Mahomes and Reid. I’d be really skeptical about the Reid tree right now if I were hiring a head coach.
