Wilson not happy with the Seahawks?
https://sports.yahoo.com/report-more...201257575.html
Charean Williams Thu, February 11, 2021, 2:12 PM·1 min read Seattle Seahawks Russell Wilson Other teams are wondering what is going on in Seattle. Maybe the Seahawks are wondering what is going on, too. Russell Wilson‘s media tour has prompted questions about his future with the team. That has prompted other teams to reach out to the Seahawks about the quarterback’s availability. Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that “more teams have reached out about Russell Wilson, but the Seahawks have shown no inclination to trade their star quarterback, whose media tour continues.” Wilson’s comments make it clear he isn’t happy with the Seahawks, who reportedly aren’t happy with Wilson’s public comments of dissatisfaction. His media tour continues Friday on The Ellen Show, so stay tuned. Winning cures everything, and Wilson and the Seahawks haven’t done much of that in the postseason in recent years. Wilson hasn’t won a Super Bowl since his second season. He hasn’t been to a Super Bowl since his third season. The Seahawks are only 3-5 in the postseason the past six seasons, failing to advance past the divisional round. |

Faders chasing every QB not named Carr. Currently, there are three hot names in terms of quarterbacks being discussed as potential trade bait. Deshaun Watson tops that list as he has made it clear this offseason that he wants out of Houston. Carson Wentz is a sure bet to be moved as the Eagles are looking to move on from the 2016 second overall pick. And recently Russell Wilson’s potential availability has entered the discussion as well. Wilson entered the discussion due to recent comments saying he is tired of being sacked so much, suggesting the team doesn’t put enough effort into protecting him. So, of course, if there’s a possibility any of these three quarterbacks will be traded, there are odds on which team will land them. For Wilson in particular, the leader in the odds is the Raiders at +300. Here are the full odds: Russell Wilson’s next team odds Las Vegas Raiders +300 Dallas Cowboys +600 Jacksonville Jaguars +700 Washington Football Team +800 San Francisco 49ers +900 Denver Broncos +1000 Indianapolis Colts +1200 Miami Dolphins +1200 Carolina Panther +1600 Chicago Bears +1600 Houston Texans +1600 New England Patriots+1600 New York Jets +1600 New Orleans Saints +2500 Philadelphia Eagles +2500 Cleveland Browns +4000 Minnesota Vikings +4000 Pittsburgh Steelers +4000 Atlanta Falcons +5000 Cincinnati Bengals +5000 New York Giants +5000 Tennessee Titans +5000 The 32-year-old Wilson is a seven-time Pro Bowler and has a Super Bowl ring to his name. He threw for 40 TDs last season and ran for two more, leading the Seahawks to a 12-4 record. In fact, the Seahawks have never had a losing record since he has been their starting quarterback. And he’s never missed a game in his nine-year career. Who even knows what it would take in a trade to get Wilson or even if the Seahawks would consider making such a trade. Who even knows what it would take in a trade to get Wilson or even if the Seahawks would consider making such a trade. Yeah, he gets sacked a lot, and some of those were his own fault for holding onto the ball too long, but he has some gripe, as well as the Seahawks, have had issues in pass protection. Interesting though that a trade to the Raiders would be reuniting him with offensive line coach Tom Cable. The Raiders are also listing among the odds for Wentz and Watson, although they are not the leader in the odds for either QB or even in the top five. Here are those odds. Deshaun Watson next team odds New York Jets +250 Miami Dolphins +350 Carolina Panthers +450 Denver Broncos +800 San Francisco 49ers +800 Chicago Bears +1600 Indianapolis Colts +1600 Las Vegas Raiders +1600 New England Patriots +1600 Philadelphia Eagles +1600 Washington Football Team +1600 Dallas Cowboys +1800 Atlanta Falcons +3300 Jacksonville Jaguars +3300 New Orleans Saints +4000 Pittsburgh Steelers +4000 Green Bay Packers +5000 Minnesota Vikings +5000 New York Giants +5000 Tennessee Titans +5000 Cincinnati Bengals +10000 Carson Wentz next team odds Chicago Bears +100 Indianapolis Colts +150 Denver Broncos +800 Washington Football Team +900 Carolina Panthers +1200 Houston Texans +1600 Las Vegas Raiders +1800 New England Patriots +2000 San Francisco 49ers +2000 Dallas Cowboys +2500 Miami Dolphins +2500 New York Jets +2500 |

We should just swap.

He's frustrated with being hit too much. Can't blame him.

Are you sure that’d be enough for the Seahawks? /Deberg |
Wilson has been sacked 394 times in 144 regular-season games. According to ESPN Stats & Information research, that's the most in a player's first nine seasons since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger.

Well, they've done a **** job of putting a team around him, the offense is terrible, and they keep trying to trade him, so I don't blame him.
|
He’s just letting them know he wants an OL.
Murray is kind of sending hints too. We already know Rodgers has hinted at being displeased. Franchise QB’s are getting ballsy after Watson showed everybody how much power they have. |
we better focus on O-Line, don't want mahomie to ever feel like this

Superbowl just ended...and destroying your phone has already been used.
NFL needs drama in the off-season. |
Trade Wilson for Rodgers straight up.
|
Take note, Chiefs.

Anyone else tuning into The Ellen Show today to see what happens next in this saga?

Mahomes should feel the same. I'm sure he's tired of running around all year to make the play because the OL suck.

I love these diva shitbag QBs turning into crybaby nba players. Always whining and demanding trades
Punk ass bitches. Every one of them. |
Jesus ****ing Christ. Do we need to get some offensive linemen because of injuries this year? Yes.
But Wilson has been getting sacked 50+ times every season. Mahomes is in the 20s. It’s not the ****ing same thing. Not at all. |

I thought it was pretty funny when it came out that Wilson was a little perturbed with the Seahawks and someone quote tweeted it with a video of Russel Wilson standing in a perfectly clean pocket for 5ish seconds and then taking a sack.
Also, there is no chance in hell Seattle gets rid of him. |
RW probably loves the SEAHAWKS. He's just probably unhappy they play in Seattle.

**** him. He's getting paid a lot of money and was handed his SB ring due one of the most dominant defenses of all time. He's a crybaby.

Dallas has a big O Line, but he will probably still get sacked at a record rate. |

Dov Kleiman is such a piece of shit Mahomes hater.
|
3 1st Rounders isn't enough for Wilson, IMO.
3 1st's and 2 2nd's is what it would take for me to even entertain it if I were Seattle |
Wonder if they could work out a Watson for Wilson swap.

If so, no way he bites on that. |
If I don’t have a QB and can get Russ for 3 firsts, I pull the trigger.
|
Quote:
Of course, Watson has the same problem with not getting rid of the ball, so I'm sure he'd get the shit beat out of him in Seattle too. |
The Seahawks wanted Josh Allen. They were sniffing around him and Patrick and his camp got pissed about it.
They would have drafted Josh Allen. Might have been okay for them seeing as Allen panned out well, though he’s not Russ |
Quote:
I noticed him first when he was pushing the narrative that Mahomes threw his teammates under the bus, and now I’m noticing his tweets everywhere. **** that one who sucks the penis. |
First, I thank God that the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes even morning and night.
But damn, we Chiefs fans live in the darkness of QB hell for decades, and now all this talent is available if you are willing to pay the price. I think a lot of shit is going to happen in the next 45 days. If I'm Jerry Jones, there is no ****ing way I pay Dak, when I could potentially get a Watson or Wilson. A QB like that in Dallas would print money for Jerry. I don't know how in hell they could pull it off, but damn I'd move heaven and earth to make that happen. |

Why the **** would Seattle want first rounders anyway? They've been ****ing awful in recent years drafting.

What I don’t get is why Russell Wilson signed an extension with the Seahawks in 2019? He knew they were sniffing around Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen and they were even playing hardball with him during extension talks as if they weren’t needing him in the first place, so why sign?

If we can simply solidify the trenches on both sides of the ball and find a solid replacement for Breeland. This offseason would get a big W.
Mahomes has got to feel safe and secure while the opposing QB feels the opposite. Last SB was anything but that. |
Russ ain’t ****in around

The Dolphins should be all over that.

Carolina should go after him.

From PFT
The article looks closely at the tension between Wilson and the coaching staff regarding Wilson’s desire to essentially be the offense, like Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City. That motivation drove the #LetRussCook phenomenon early in the season. But coach Pete Carroll freaked out after a turnover-fest against the Bills (four from Wilson) and another subpar performance against the Rams (three more Wilson turnovers). After those seven turnovers from Wilson in two games, the Seahawks faced a short-week challenge against a Cardinals team that had a two-game winning streak against Seattle, and that was riding a wave of euphoria after the Hail Murray win over the Bills. Here’s what happened next, via the story in TheAthletic.com: “Before the Thursday night game against Arizona, Wilson met with his coaches. For some time, Wilson has sought — even pushed — for influence within the organization regarding scheme and personnel. In the meeting, he outlined his own ideas for how to fix the offense. His suggestions were dismissed, multiple sources told The Athletic — another reminder to Wilson that the Seahawks did not see him the same way he saw himself, as a player who had earned greater control over his situation, his future, his legacy. He stormed out of the room.” |
If I'm Seattle Carroll and Schneider are the ones that go.

Be thankful we have Andy and Veach.
Russ was playing in a Marty offense from 30 years ago with no regard to innovation or input. Can’t say I blame Russ one bit. He sees Patrick getting input, Brady getting input and how fun it can be to play with an offensive coach. I’d be trying to go to the Saints or Panthers if I were him |
He should try completing more than 40 percent of his passes in a playoff game.

I'm with Pest - if I'm the Dolphins I'm doing all I can to make that trade happen. |
This is craziest ****ing off season ever.

Highly doubt Wilson will be traded. Who is going to be their QB for this upcoming season?
Things will be patched up between everyone and they will involve Wilson a bit more. He seems to always be making plays for that team. |

That team was in win now mode when they traded 2 1st round picks for a safety. They have Metcalf on a rookie deal. They aren’t going to turnaround and start over at QB right now. |
Idk what’s gonna happen but I’m not happy about the possibility of the AFC getting even more quality QB play. The balance is already way off in favor of the AFC.

I'm talking from the point of view where they have no choice but to trade. |

These guys see the news. They see Patrick getting texts from his GM asking what they’d like in the draft. They see the innovation. They also see Tom Brady leaving a horrible micro managed situation and going to an offensive minded team that let him have input to bring in Gronk, Brown and Fournette. Can’t say I blame Russ one bit for wanting that |
I don't think Russell will be traded but if he doesn't get traded, I see a "Pete Carroll and the Seattle seahawks have agreed to mutually part ways" coming in the next couple years.

And with Carroll seemingly doubling down on his run first offense it seems like Wilson leaving to stat chase is an inevitability. |

Russell Wilson as your starting QB or Sam Darnold, 2nd overall pick, +2021 1st round pick, and a 2022 1st rd pick Derek Carr, 17th overall pick, and 2022 1st round pick Tua, 3rd overall pick, +2021 1st round pick, and a 2022 1st rd pick Whatever the Saints have to offer Patriots next 3 1st rd picks and 2 2nd round picks Or possibly players + picks from a dark horse team that wants Wilson. |
Wilson said one of his choices would be the Jets. That makes both Watson and now Wilson that have named the Jets as a preferred destination. Selah must be one heck of a players coach.

Wilson also mentioned the Raiders ROFL
|
I don't see why Vegas would be attractive to Watson or Wilson.
Denver, sure. But I still believe that if these QBs are actually on the market, then big market teams like Dallas and New England will come calling. |
