I’ve been updating the draft thread as I’ve been watching.

The Franchise 04-23-2021 11:36 AM

Likes the WRs that they have in house. Thinks there could be a mid round pocket of WRs that they could look at. Doesn’t really see any FA options.

There’s dialogue there and have been in talks with a couple of teams. Nothing they’re ready to move on.

Regarding arm length in OTs.

Arm length is important. Size and athleticism is also as important. If they’re good then it’s easier to accept 33 or 33 1/2 arms.

RunKC 04-23-2021 11:45 AM

So many guys are going to fall. And I’m thinking that Farley corner is one of them.

You don’t think there’s tackle depth in this draft?

Unlikely- Brett Veach has traded up 5 times but has never traded down

And how many times had he drafted a RB in the first round?

Just because it’s never happened....doesn’t mean it can’t.

Deberg_1990 04-23-2021 12:31 PM

So we’re taking a WR!

Three drafts is proof of what, exactly?

There's incredible depth at T in this draft. Probably the best it has been in years.

I hope I’m wrong. I’d love to see them trade down.

Kiimo 04-23-2021 12:55 PM

Yeah there are like 3 tackles that are surefire and then a huge group of guys that could be ranked anywhere. Walker Little is ranked overall 26 by PFF and at third rounder by ESPN. it's all over the place.

I like that kid from Northern Iowa Spencer Brown as a sleeper personally.

Really wish these Threads were like movie theaters. So we could actually see everyone get up and run out of the “Veach Presser” and into the newer released and exciting “Chiefs Trade for Brown” showing.

Very interesting point Veach made at 5:25 in the video:

“I think that mid 2 to early 3 is going to be a hot zone. I think that’s really where there’s a big fall off.”

Don’t think we’re trading back guys

agree. He's thrilled to get that second rounder.

Is it me or did he mention Joe Thuney and Center multiple times?
