Can they opt out again this year? I'd expect to see the UDFAs there, but I wonder about the draft picks.

And so it begins.......
Who will be this year's camp "superstar" that gets cut? Who will be the sleeper who makes the team? |
Finally! We can get to work on getting that nasty taste out of our mouth from the last game.
|
No injuries, please.

I'M SOFAKING HORNEE

Would be great if they could find a UDFA of Wharton’s caliber again.

LMAO I don't know if it's just Chiefs fans or NFL fans in general (probably the latter) but that kind of epic dipshittery is funny for about 10 seconds, then it's just annoying AF because those people actually believe what they're saying. "The Chiefs don't need Kaindoh. Ever heard of Okafor?" and "Noah Gray is going to sit on the bench all season. Bad pick. Kelce is still the best!". LMAO |

This may be strange but im ****ing ready to see Lucas Niang. I know hes probably rusty but damn i feel like hes the RTOTF.

I had to look up if Derrick Gore is Frank Gore's son. I knew Frank had a son playing D1 football the last few years.
Spoiler: no relation. |

Niang went on that Breeland speaks diet. Dude gained like 40 pounds

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, NFLPA President JC Tretter informed players today of plans to push for an all-virtual offseason. OTAs have always been voluntary workouts and Tretter is encouraging players to boycott those workouts if teams conduct them in person. |
What number is Niang? I dont see a huge weight gain unless im looking at the wrong guy.

He definately had some pudge in college. Go back and watch the film of him v bosa.
Edit: Not saying he hasnt gained some weight but I dont think hes gone fat and soft like breeland speaks seemed to. |
Quote:
He does look a little bigger, but considering it’s ****ing May and he hasn’t played football in quite some time, yea he might need to shed 10-15 before the season. It’s not “40 pounds”. That’s for sure. |

Asking for a friend.... |
The players start camp fat and end the season skinny. Andy starts camp skinny and ends the season fat. (Relatively ofc)

Are we still doubting Malik Herring?

Malik played in 34 games at Georgia and he had 70 tackles and 4 sacks. I think he was a rotational player at Georgia. At the 2021 Senior Bowl practice in January, he tore his ACL. I have read that the Chiefs are looking at Malik maybe getting healthy and being able to help in 2022. I always want to root for a young player to come and make a difference for the Chiefs. What is it about Mr. Herring that has you NOT doubting? |

I also loved the picture they pulled up of him at TCU... if you do a random google search for Lucas Niang and pull up the Images tab, you have to scroll down the page to get to that phot (which I'd guess is from early in his career there, since his jr-sr game film and pics (pics that show up higher in the google search) all show a paunch that is visible even when he's wearing pads. I'd guess he's MAYBE up 10-15 pounds from the weight he was at in his last few years at TCU. Not a concern to me at all. |

Listening to Trey Smith interview. He’s got a similar mindset to Orlando Brown Jr. He’s determined and has a strong will to meet his goals.
This OL is going to be so badass. It’s going to be even better in 2022 when they’ve had a little more time to gel |
Not sure why the thought of having a dominant o-line gets me so hard but man it sure ****ing does, you can do anything you want and the other team can't do shit about it.
|
Quote:
When's the last time we had a dominant line? Run-blocking in particular has been garbage for years. Sick of seeing other teams' RBs going 6 yards untouched while ours are in a constant fight to get to the line of scrimmage. Our offense may have been pretty dominant last year relative to the rest of the league, but the reality is that they relied heavily upon schemes, trickery and Mahomes Magic. Imagine the possibilities when they're able to finally impose their will in the trenches. |
