Norm was totally unfiltered and a straight shooter. He was relentless on OJ during those trial days. He's a hero to lots of comedians. He'll be missed.

He had a "sports" show on Comedy Central about 10 years ago that I thought was great. Probably ran for about 10 episodes before getting cancelled.

I prefer a world where Carlin, Patrice O'Neal, Norm and Robin Williams are making jokes to our bleaker less amusing future.

Not a lot of bravery or contrarians out there anymore, outside Tim Dillon.

Dammit. Have always loved Norm. Seemed like he was really one of us. An absolutely BRILLIANT one of us, but one of us nonetheless.

Holy shit. This is hard to believe. I watch his talk show appearances at least once every couple weeks, just did a few days ago. Great standup too. His appearances on stern when artie lange was there were gold.

I liked Norm.

Yeah, I always made sure to catch his standup on Comedy Central back in the day. They repeated his HBO special and his A-List appearances pretty often back in the mid 90s.

His opening monologue at the 1998 ESPYs was tremendous. The shock and horror of Bonds, Ken Griffey Jr and Harold Reynolds when he told the OJ/Heisman joke is one of my favorite gifs.

The funniest man on the planet is now Bill Burr.

Horrible news. He was great on SNL (back when it was actually funny) and his film Dirty Work is a criminally underrated comedy. If you haven't seen it, definitely check it out.

Probably one of the wittiest comics I’ve ever seen. That smile let you know he was ten steps ahead of everyone else on the punchline. His Larry King impersonation was my favorite.

Dirty work as a whole is a shitty movie but the cameos with Chris Farley, Don Rickles and Chevy Chase are all hilarious.

One of the absolute best to ever do it.

His appearances on Conan were always epic. The 12-minute joke is sick, twisted and utterly hilarious. I guess I’m left clinging to Bill Burr and Louis CK. Well, I won’t cling to Louis, that might get sticky.
