Ryan Sims or Frank Clark

Choose one and only one.

Assume you're getting Ryan Sims in his, em, "prime"

You get the current version of Frank Clark.

JakeF 10-12-2021 06:14 PM

Sims

Rainbarrel 10-12-2021 06:14 PM

I find Clark entertaining, Simms just ate Krispy Kreme.

TLO 10-12-2021 06:15 PM

I had to think about this one. But death by fire was the choice for me.

Samesies.

Neither, Glenn Dorsey.

Titty Meat 10-12-2021 06:17 PM

Dorsey > Veach

Goddamnit. Talk about a blast from the past.

I don't think there is any question. Especially looking back, we know now that Dorsey never had the full support of Andy and Veach does. Reid had been planning the ouster of Dorsey from Day 1.

Remember when we drafted Tyson Jackson with the 3rd overall pick in the draft? Good times.

Hamas's thread was epic.

Can't find that Mooj gif, though.

Titty Meat 10-12-2021 06:46 PM

notorious 10-12-2021 06:47 PM

Like it or not Clark played a roll in our SB season. Ryan Sims played no roll in any game ever in his career I can remember.

frozenchief 10-12-2021 07:16 PM

Can't forget Junior Siavii, although he was admittedly a second rounder.

He had a key third down stop against Denver at home in 2005. I remember Whitlock writing about it for some reason.

I won’t try to argue your memory is 100x better than mine.

alpha_omega 10-12-2021 08:03 PM

At least Gaz Clark has done something for this team at some point in time.

BossChief 10-12-2021 08:03 PM

Erick Hicks was probably superior to current Frank Clark.

FloridaMan88 10-12-2021 08:39 PM

Frank Clark’s postseason performance in 2019 was more significant than anything that deadweight Ryan Sims accomplished with the Chiefs, so that gives him the advantage even in his current decrepit state.

What sucks is man I really loved the swagger Frank brought in year 1. He was a junkyard dog. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/khjY3xELOyo" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I’ve probably watched that 100 times, cuz it’s so awesome. Don’t really know what happened to that version of him, but it’s missed. Either way he was a big part of that SB run, and bringing the Hunt trophy home. So despite his immediate drop off after the SB win, I can’t bring myself to hate him.

POND_OF_RED 10-12-2021 08:59 PM

Frank Clark had as many sacks in the playoffs for our Super Bowl winning team than Sims had his entire 5 years here. Get the **** out of here with this bullshit. Yeah, I’m not happy with the production lately, but put some ****ing respect on the name for what he brought to KC. He’s nowhere near Sims level of ineptitude.

Bump 10-12-2021 09:17 PM

Frank helped win a Superbowl. Ryan Sims did jack shit and looked good in college playing next to Julius Peppers.

BWillie 10-12-2021 10:02 PM

Great thread title. Would read again. Funny shit.

Dunerdr 10-13-2021 08:45 AM

Sims because i was just a kid then, and couldnt fully comprehend the suck. I am now an upset adult crying on a message board about frank and i fully comprehend how pathetic that is, and how bad he is to make me accept it.

Todd Blackledge says hello...

So does Sylvester Morris and Percy Snow.

Isn't Frank Clark going to be his cellmate soon?

scho63 10-13-2021 01:49 PM

AIDS Fire or drinking Anti-Freeze?

Tough choice!

He's playing like shit.

Nobody wants to hear someone barking like big shit when he sucks.

You can go out there acting the alpha when you can back it up. Clark hasn't backed it up in 18 months.
