What will our season W-L record
8-9
|
7-10 or 8-9. A Chiefs mediocrity pie. Filed with a couple slices of hope, couple slices of wtf's and a couple slices of failed expectations.
|
The ceiling feels like 10 wins right now. The team has been pretty healthy overall. Never dreamed it.
|
13-4 is going to be awesome after all you lil bitches jumped ship
|
9-8/8-9

I have 9-8. Getting a playoff spot may come down to, ironically, whether or not the Bengals need the game towards the end of the season for seeding and what not. Thought that was going to be the position we were in. Looks like it'll be reversed. Hell, even the 9 might be optimistic. I'm assuming we sweep Denver, split with the Raiders, and even up with the Chargers. This also assumes we beat either Pittsburgh or the Bengals, which I covered above. 8-9 or even 7-10 are in play.
|
They play some really shitiful teams coming up. Can't see them losing to the Lions, Giants, Broncos, or Bears. They may even end up 11-6, but they've lost to every good team they've played. Hard to see them making a run.

I’ll try to look on the bright side and say 10-7…I think that’s the absolute top end it could be though.
Probably more like 9-8 or 8-9…any of those records would be an unmitigated disaster and heads should roll. |

7-10.
I sincerely hope this doesn't happen, but the wheels look like they've come off this season after today. Still turning the ball over, still haven't found an answer to the C2 shell, and the defense is still not making plays. And I'll throat-punch the next idiot that whines "Andy Reid is a terrible coach!" Open your eyes. this is completely on the players. Outside of ST and the IOL, everyone is shitting their pants, including Patrick Mahomes, who found yet another way to turn the ball over today. STOP THROWING THE GADDAMNED BALL TO THE OTHER TEAM ALREADY. **** these guys until they sack up and win a few games in a row. Whole roster is embarrassing at this point. |

And the late season Cincy game suddenly looks very difficult. |
Oof. Didn't realize we still had that many actual teams left on our schedule. If we got the Packers and Cowboys a bit later in the year maybe I'd give them more of a chance but at the level they're currently performing I wouldn't pencil in a single game as a probable win.

Optimistically: 11-6
Realistically: 9-8 There's no way they lose less than 2 games going forward. Rodgers and Dak will carve up this defense. |

Edit - my bad, didn’t see your response about the schedule til after I posted. |
2-15.
The collapse will be so epic that the league will take one off the board. |

7-10
and that will be a stretch |
I dunno. We've not seen them flex any muscle against good teams yet this year. To me unless they somehow stop being what they've been for 7 games, we're looking at 10 wins at the most. Dallas and GB will destroy this team, Bengals can beat us as can the Raiders at least once and the Chargers. I still want to believe so I'll say they turn it around, but it'll be too little too late.
They just do NOT look like the same team of the last 3 seasons, and the results show that. Between my Huskers and the Chiefs, I'm gonna start watching golf or some shit. |
9 or 10 wins at best. The Chiefs just don't have that same magic this year
|
I picked 9-8 but that's some really ****ing serious wishful thinking. This defense can't stop anybody. It will do the franchise some good to fail to make the playoffs.
It'll be so inexcusable that ownership will be forced to make coordinator changes, perhaps Reid even calls it a career, and hopefully we can dump as many of these bloated underperforming defensive contracts as possible. Cut Clark, tell little bitch Mathieu to hit the bricks, and ship Chris Jones for whatever we can get for him. Sorensen, Ward, Hitchens, Niemann all hit the shit heap. Scorched earth purge this mother ****er. |
11-6.
Think the defense was more competent today than some might appreciate and I’d never bet Mahomes will persist at today’s level. |
12-5 which wasn't an option so I went with 12-6.
|
10-7

9-8
It may be enough to sneak in the Playoffs and it may not. |
I went through the schedule during the game earlier and it looked like 8 or 9 wins assuming there aren’t any significant improvements coming from the defense. The schedule isn’t exactly easy.
|
10-7
Flirt with the playoffs and get a shitty draft pick because of it. |
9-8 or 10-7
I think they’ll get things turned around for a playoff berth, but that’s the absolute ceiling. |
I figure 11-6 is the ceiling, and that's with some unknowns of if the Cowboys are any good and assuming a team like the Bengals and some others are going to have consistency issues and might catch them on a bad day.
More realistically, 8-10 wins, so I voted 9-8. |
The chiefs will be 7-4 at the bye.
|
I think it's safe to say, we will be drafting much earlier next year. Don't **** it up Bart.

Best case I'd say they go 6-4 and finish 9-8. More likely, 5-5 and finish 8-9. |
We'll be lucky to get 9 wins. 9-8 on the season.
|
I’d still guess 10 or 11 wins. I don’t think the Chiefs were quite as good as their outcomes the past couple of seasons would indicate, and I don’t think they’re quite as bad as the outcomes so far this season might lead us to believe.

There's still a lot of football to be played, so I'm going to be an optimist and say 10-7.
Should heads roll after the season? Abso-freaking-lutely, starting with the DC. That will get most of the D staff that seem to not have an original thought. Next, ax the divas and under performers. Each one of these guys are getting paid money most of us can only dream of (that includes rookies and bench warmers) and shouldn't need cheerleaders to do their job. How long would you hold on to an "elite" employee if he was underperforming or didn't give a shit? If we have to eat some dead cap so what, it's not like we're cherries at it. |
The good thing is, 13 and 3 does not exist anymore.
|
We look lost and we still have a monster schedule looming. 9-8 is about as good as I feel right now
|
I said 8-9. But the way they're playing on both sides of the ball, I would not be shocked if they went 6-11

My favorite team has Patrick ****ing Mahomes on it. Back your team you low lifes. |
I think they beat the Packers and the Cowboys.

10-7, which unfortunately probably means missing the playoffs unless the last spot comes down to us and Cleveland. We've lost or will likely lose the tiebreaker to everyone else.
