OP didn't read the article. They're basically selling conversion kits and put it in this model of truck.
|
Looks neat. I’ll stick with electric F-150 though.
|
Nice!
|
God **** those pickups were ugly.

This is a SEMA show truck. My friend was telling me about it yesterday. I haven't read anything on it but they're trying to sell these electric motors IIRC. That's the real highlight here and the entire point of building this. |

This truck is to show shops like mine that they now produce these motors and they want to sell them to us for custom builds. |

That's from when a pickup was a mans tool. And it was beautiful. |
That was my dad's truck (without the electric motor) and it was awesome.
|
I was initially impressed with the price, and even possibly interested in the option for a future project, but if you get to digging into it you're going to have to spend a shit load of money on top of the motor to make it work.

didn't see where you put your golf clubs on that hoss

... only in the dark green with the white cab and side strip. The '72 was one of my dad's first trucks. Something like this... https://i.pinimg.com/originals/b5/b4...b15f4cb1e6.jpg |
We had brown outs last winter when we hit a cold snap. Just wait until everybody owns an electric truck.

Dad had, I think it was an 85 F100. Base ass model. FM radio was too much money, AM only. Obviously no AC. Dog ass 300 Ford IL6, manual transmission (that I will admit shifted pretty nice), nothing. Nothing at all to like. I got to drive that several summers to change water. God I hated that sack of turds. |

But you know what I like? AIR ****ING CONDITIONING. I've driven a pile of old dog shit and give me new(er) and not junk please. My 15 silverado (before it got crunched) I thought had a pretty nice design if it just had an LED conversion kit in it. |

Like 4” higher than the previous year model. I don’t use that step thingy because I have a hitch in all the time, but it’s pretty handy for hauling other shit. I guess I do use it to back up to the football field for high high school games . It’s pretty nice for that. |
Id take this over any pos chivy of that era.
https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/wp...05-610x465.jpg The woody would be even better. They wouldn't die. https://img.hmn.com/900x0/stories/20...-IH-3-1970.jpg We kept an old 68 Travelall around the office well into the 90s. We would take it into the rock quarry mines. It had a steel platform rack we could get on top to drill ceiling points. it was perfect for that we didn't have to haul and **** with a ladder for the 12-foot ceilings. When the finally retired it it 1998 an old retiree bought it and used it on his farm. Damn truck outlived him he made it to his late 80s. Last I talked to his son who I worked with for a bit it still ran like a top. https://bringatrailer.com/wp-content...?fit=940%2C627 Travelall.^^ |

The good ol days. My old man had a 79 except automatic. Stripped down everything...no air, am radio. Totalled it on the way to school one morning. We at least saved the bed to put on the farm truck. |

Ever since Plymouth came out with the Prowler I have been hoping that, Ford especially, would come out with a modern vehicle with a re-released classic/iconic body. |

I love that movie. “watch the leather man.” Hahaha |
You know what I like about them high school girls?
I get older and they stay the same age. Haha yes they do. |

I love watching this movie for the cars. Most students drive piles of shit, but these kids all drive flawless, fairly new cars. That pickup always catches my attention, though. |
