I was unaware of just how many Dew spin-offs there were until I stumbled upon the Mountain Dew subreddit.

I try not to drink much soda, but if I see a new flavor pop up there that sounds interesting, I'll keep an eye out for it in stores. The Major Melon they released earlier this year was pretty good.

I saw the Mountain Dew Gingerbread Snapp'd in the local Dollar General this week, but just couldn't bring myself to buy it and try.

Would those qualify as the same category? How about Squirt?

I drank quite a bit of Mtn Dew Code Red back in my college days. I'm not sure they even make that anymore.

There's a shit ton. I like the Voltage and there was a Red, White and Dew (I think) out around the 4th of July that was pretty good as well. I'm not a huge pop drinker either, but my Dew Junkie son is back living with us for the moment, he always has something in the fridge and since I own the place I'll help myself to anything that looks interesting.

White Out was one of my favorites back in the day. Red, White, and Dew is a mixture of White Out, Code Red, and Voltage.

Haven't had a Mt dew since I was in high school and never was a fan but I do like the odd Fresca.

I made the switch to diet pop a long time ago, but I can't stand diet MD. It's just.... wrong. Maybe a couple of times a year I'll get a craving for MD, but it has to be the regular one.

I like it every once in awhile but it's definitely not the same category. Way too much grapefruit flavor compared to the lemon-lime-orange citrus of the others.

I've been getting Sprite Lymonade lately. It's great. The only thing that sucks is it doesn't have caffeine. Same thing with Squirt. Great beverage, but I'd drink it a lot more if it had caffeine.

I voted Mountain Dew but I like Mello Yello too. Mountain Dew is just more easily available and they have so many flavors. Baja Blast is great. My favorite is White Out but I guess they don't make it any longer. I haven't seen it in a while. I bought a 12 pack of the Gingerbread Snap'd Mountain Dew last week. It's ok. Just tastes like Mountain Dew with a hint of ginger.

I don't drink the regular versions, but as for the low sugar varieties this isn't even a question. Mountain Dew Zero is fantastic. Mello Yello Zero tastes like arsenic.

I'm not sure why this is the case, it's just how it is and that's all there is to it.

Ah yes, that's another one I liked. Actually the only one I didn't care for was some mystery flavor they put out around Halloween. That was awful .

Sprite, sierra mist, fresca, 7up are not the same or in the same category as MT Dew. Mellow Yellow is oily.

I'm not sure if its a QT brand or just sold there but Rooster Booster is/was the best energy drink I've ever had. Flavor of strawberry soda. I don't drink those normally but was great for the early mornings working the breakfast shift in a restaurant.

Back in my younger days I would mix vodka and (diet) MT Dew. Called it riot punch (a la Always Sunny). Some of you CP Bash regulars know how that went.

Slight preference to Mountain Dew. I both are good. Coke is my favorite.

I know MD is going to run away with this but for me if MY is available its what I choose every time. Also, MY is a good choice for the bourbon you buy for mixers, way better than Coke IMO.

When I was in HS and went on away games I always had a mello Yellow and those small chocolate donuts.

In my twenties-earlier 30's I drank Mt Dew alot and still like to have it once a year. Tough to do though when you are Type II Diabetic.

I think I will pick Mt. Dew. Sounds like I need to try the Baja Blast though, I have never tried any of the other flavors.

I have tried the diet Mt. Dew or the zero sugar one they aren't close to the original. I do like the zero sugar 7-Up though that is probably the best along with the zero sugar Dr. Pepper.
