****Official 2021 College Basketball Thread****

It's back and I know everyone is oh so excited!!

This is the place to post about random games should you be so inclined. I know we've got respective threads for all of the teams that matter to most of us, feel free to talk about them in here if you like as well.

Pablo 11-19-2021 06:05 PM

It’s 8 minutes into the first half.

I get you’re trying to troll, but do better.

I posted that like 15 minutes ago when the game had just started. Didn't know Ohio would get on top of the cats so quickly honestly.

There is a decent slate of games on tonight this just happens to be the one I'm watching now.

Ohio’s an above average team that probably will make the tournament.

Oscar is in foul trouble-they should still win.

I knew nothing about them coming in but they are playing very sound basketball. They're a MAC team I think?

Correct.

And they shoot 3s.

Pablo 11-19-2021 06:45 PM

Well that was an entertaining half.

Pablo 11-19-2021 07:19 PM

They're blowing it open now. You fought well Ohio.

RustShack 11-19-2021 07:50 PM

Iowa State already has one more win than they had all of last year.

Pretty decent sports weekend despite the NFL's shit schedule yesterday.

Jayhawks in 10 minutes, Rangers/Bruins and some good hockey, a little CFB.

They hadn't won a game vs a ranked team in 3 years.

Now they've done it twice in a week.

Without their best player too. Hoiberg had 1 road win his whole career at Nebraska. Now has 3 in a row shits weird

POND_OF_RED 03-07-2022 01:21 PM

The NCAA basketball product has kind of went to shit. I watched some basketball over the weekend and the offensive talent is pretty bad. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been watching more NBA this season or what, but the Texas-KU game may have been some of the worst basketball I’ve seen since watching my little nephew play his first basketball game with the other 1st graders. They just dribble around and pass for 20-30 seconds and then force up some shot that they’re obviously not talented enough to make. The final minute of an NBA game can have 3-4 back and forth lead changes because the offensive talent is insane. I watched the last 4 minutes of a game and there were 4 free throws to get it into OT. The game has become a joke with the talent deciding to go overseas for their 1 year out of high school before the draft now.

I’m sure March Madness will still be fun, but not from a complete talent perspective. The main KU guy had 1 basket the other night and he’s a potential “lottery pick” There’s a reason it’s taking some of these college players some extra time in the G league to prepare for the NBA nowadays. The NCAA isn’t preparing them for top competition at all anymore.

Pablo 03-10-2022 06:53 PM

Baylor pulls ahead at half. Michigan state is raping.

It’s March bitch!!

Demonpenz 03-10-2022 08:13 PM

Welp, that could do it. :doh!:

Bearcat 03-10-2022 09:33 PM

Virginia with 13 points at halftime versus UNC.

BWillie 03-11-2022 12:10 PM

Iowa is better this year without Garza than they were last year with him.

The Murray brothers ain't nothing to **** wit.

Fran cracks me up though. He plays his shitty kids over the other Murray (Kris) for no reason at all. If you doubled Kris Murrays numbers they are very close to Keegan Murray...and the Murrays can actually defend and block shots.

Fran will be Fran though. Terrible defensive mind who plays way to many guys and doesn't play his top players all of the minutes.

ptlyon 03-11-2022 12:18 PM

After playing the best game they've played all year yesterday, Iowa will flop today. Count on it.

Fran is gonna Fran again.

Pablo 03-11-2022 12:23 PM

Auburn getting worked but lots of time left

Reerun_KC 03-11-2022 12:25 PM

ATM and auburn.

This one is getting intense

I know Jabari is the main draw to watch Auburn, but their big man Walker Kessler averages like 4.5 blocks per game. After transferring from UNC last year. Roy Williams really does not understand defensive talent.

Nice. I can’t believe ATM pulled it off.

I guess similar to OU knocking off Baylor.

Welcome to the land of pressure and expectations, n00bs.

Buehler445 03-11-2022 03:00 PM

Double T's in Iowa and another T on the Rutgers bench? Now Thuggy bear can rest a little easier.

MORE TECHNICALS. And some bitch white boy is done for the day.

BWillie 03-11-2022 03:17 PM

Iowa is looking Salty. They might be as good as Kansas. Get Perkins & Kris Murray more usage and Patrick and Conner McCaffrey less.

Buehler445 03-11-2022 03:17 PM

Annnnd. Technical #6 and ejection #2 going to Rutgers Strength coach ROFL

LMFAO ROFLROFL

displacedinMN 03-11-2022 07:13 PM

Winning with a T is a hell of a lot better than Lute giving the refs the choke sign and losing to Wichita state.

Yeah, cant let it go.

Buehler445 03-11-2022 07:20 PM

What game ended in a T?

Bearcat 03-11-2022 07:46 PM

I know women's CBB can be uncompetitive, but wouldn't think a shutout in a quarter is very common...

Yeah I had that one on and enjoyed it. Didn't want to watch the Big 10 snoozefest, but it's nice to see Indiana up at half. Looks like that may have been the one I should have tuned into all along.

BUT

1. What a ****ing garbage play. They ****ing stood around FOR THAT? How embarrassing.

2. I've been witness to some pretty heartbreaking defeats on bullshit shots. But a 40 year old scrawny shortpants white bitch BANKING that of all shots in has to be one of the worst ways to lose.

Sad. Regular season conference tournament winner should get autobid, not the cute little conference tournament winner.
