Would be awesome but I would fully expect them to go with Herbert/Burrow since Denver sucks ass

I don't like waiting around all day for the Chiefs game.

Got a 3 1/2 hour drive after the game to be at work the next day - hoping they leave the KC game where it's at.

Would rather we play at 12 or 3:30 than have the late game, only for selfish reasons tho

Denver isn’t relevant enough to be in prime time. Garbage Franchise, only time they should be on national tv is if they are playing Jacksonville in London.

I dunno, the Giants had 2 MNF games...TWO!! I would think a divisional Chiefs\Donks match up would be at least as good as any with the Giants.

But, Chargers and Bengals would probably be the better more relevant game.

When you are talking a national audience Mahomes is a draw. I’d expect us to be the game that’s flexed. May depend on what the Donkeys do this week.

I'd say it's more likely that we see Chiefs-Raiders get flexed in a couple weeks instead. The current game is Bears-Packers. Nobody wants to see the Bears shit themselves some more. Chargers Cincinnati would be a better game than Chiefs-Donks

I think the Broncos are going to beat the Chargers this week so it would make for an interesting game by then, KC vs. Denver.

Id still rather the Chargers vs. Bengals game get flexed though. Any thing that makes it harder on the Chargers for our Thursday matchup is good for me.

I hope not. I hate evening games. Always end up going to bed late after reading comments here, watching press conferences, and listening to sports radio. I need several hours after every game to process everything. Noon games are the best. Of course, with Mahomes the noon games are a rarity.

Cincy/Chargers seems like the more competitive game, but there is always the Mahomes factor with the Chiefs, regardless of how dull Denver is.

It's not really about what's competitive to true fans of the League. It's about hype and viewership and ratings. Who's the biggest draw? You know the answer.
While Cincy and Chargers are an interesting match, they are from small markets (Chargers still considered San Diego, nobody in LA really cares much about them)

And the advertisers on SNF are going to get the "Patrick Price" on commercial time, but it ain't a discount.

If they wanted to flex it to 3:25 I'm down, but I hate those late season night games.

most-hated of all was the Steelers/Chiefs divisional playoff game in January 2017 when it was flexed due to icy weather. Cold AF, we get beaten by a team that scored 6 field goals. Phantom holding at the end, I lost my keys in the stadium and had to wait there in the lot outside my car until about midnight to get towed home.

If Denver were to beat San Diego this week, our game with them would be for a share of first place so it could be considered a comparable matchup. I’d prefer the 3 o’clock game over a noon or night game, but I’m good with kicking the donkey’s ass any time of the day.

Chargers vs Bengals is the far superior game.

The Titans game was probably the most miserable I can recall (at least I think it was the Titans game).

So cold the propane heater we had in the easy up was melting surrounding ice in the parking lot that would then run down the hill and immediately re-freeze right outside of the tent walls. Eventually it was so cold the propane solidified and the heaters conked out. I tried turning the tank upside down to shake some free and the things turned into a jet engine so rather than kill us all, I gave up on that.

I feel like we had 2 brutally cold games that year - both night games. But that Titans game stood out for the fact that I was sitting there watching water melt, run, and immediately re-freeze. It's like those Jack London stories where some lumberjack would spit and it would freeze and crack before it hit the ground.

It was crazy.

I'd rather it stay a "nooner". That's one thing that happens with success is the screwed up schedule. Coming out of the Thanksgiving holiday I'd like the schedule to stay with to nooners in a row before we have a short week and the Thursday Nighter.

Agreed, with me it's that I get my heart rate up so much during the game it takes forever to go to sleep afterwards.

The giants will continue to suck, but because they have the biggest tv market, we will be forced to watch that suck in prime time. The donks will just continue to suck.

Chargers and Bengals is a much better matchup. Getting a national game for two up and coming QBs would also be appealing to the league.

Flex decision has to be 12 days in advance, Niners still have a shot at a wildcard.

Seahawks falling apart after years of success is a story.

I think there is a chance that game is not flexed out.

They don't care as much about matchups as they do ratings.

The Broncos have a lot of fans. The Chargers don't.

I don't hate Collinsworth. I also don't really hate Joe Buck. Though when I went back and watched the game I was annoyed with his whining about no PI called on the Chiefs late in that one.

The announcers on the Spanish station are pretty good.

Kevin Harlan and Trent Green hardly count. I feel like Romo gets a lot of hate on here, too but maybe it's a vocal minority. Anyway, I think Collinsworth is about as good as there is for color. Knowledgeable and not afraid to call out bad officiating or poor coaching. Also seems like he's having fun. I guess he's a little smarmy but I don't see what everyone's issue with him is. Especially since Mahomes is his favorite player not named Tom.

KC isn't that small of a market anymore. Chiefs have Kansas City and now St. Louis. That puts it about the same size as Boston.

The Chargers-Bengals game is getting moved from FOX where it was scheduled to be a 4:05 P.M. Eastern Time kickoff now to an early 1:00 P.M. kickoff on CBS… so the Chargers get the dreaded early kickoff for a West Coast team now.

The kicker who shall remain nameless game was the coldest. My toes still have numbness in them.

Also, don't count Denver as a roll over. Bridgewater has played pretty well against us in years past. And the Chiefs tend to play to the level of their competition. At least Andy will have an extra week to prepare a game plan, and the Chargers will beat up Denver real good for us before we play them.

The whole state of MO is the Chiefs market at this point and then also KS, IA and NE.
